I warn you. If it's a Natwest or RBS debit card, you may find them charging £1.25 on each international or non-Sterling transaction, and that is on top of the 2.75% conversion charge. I myself wish that more places would simply accept PayPal.

Barclays do not do this. No charge for foreign purchases.

Shop around if you're after R1 products. R1 sellers on the UK Amazon Marketplace are a wise option.

Apparently, there are still problems with the Natwest Visa Debit system regarding PayPal, for all PayPal transactions are apparently classed as foreign and therefore eligible for the fee. I resorted to linking my PayPal account directly to my bank account, so as to circumvent this issue.
