Paradise Kiss complete series

I was expecting this to be the usual Funimation thinpak set, but it's actually a multi-disc Scanavo keepcase. It's similar to the ones that ADV use for their collections, only thinner.
 
TBD actually sent me a book fast. Amazon sent 3 & 4 of GTO: The Early Years on the same day I ordered, and I ordered volume 5 from TBD later... yet it still got here first.

... Of course, I can't read it when the other volumes aren't here, so it may as well have not arrived first. TBD are fast when I don't need them to be - sods law.

The volume has knocks, as ever... and, as ever, bubbles are burst around the knocks. One would have to assume the damage isn't TBD's fault. The last time around the damage was worse and, despite the volume being sealed, the pages had yellowed, so I won't complain this time considering they gave me a full refund the first volume.

I also received a sealed copy of the Mar's Daybreak box sets for £4 and the guide for Jak & Daxter.

Azumanga Daioh V.3 re-release (Japanese) and the Shigurui Blu-ray set. Packaging on this is much nicer than I expected. Two cases in a thin card box. Bravo Manga, I only expected a single plastic case with a swing tray. But honestly, how many different blu-ray case designs / spine widths are we going to have to deal with? We have 11mm, 12.5mm, 14mm... Where are the ISO? Not on the case, clearly. ::drum sting::

I received a DVD I hadn't ordered in the post. After scratching my head (no information in the packaging) I discovered I'd won it in a competition I'd forgotten entering. Hurrah!

Apparently I have 7 packages waiting at the Post Office for me so tomorrow's update (assuming they're open on strike days) should be more bountiful.

Today is a good day. For the first time in awhile, a TBD parcel has arrived with no yellowed/dirty pages AND only ONE slight knock to a corner. It even arrived fast, like volume five.

The fact volume six was printed far more recently than volume one might have something to do with it... though volume five has dirty(ish) pages and knocks.

I also received a mint copy of the first Twelve Kingdoms set from SS and the second volume of NHK with it.

I also also received a ton of £2.99 DVDs from Play, and ome from HMV.

The manga was perfect condition from TBD, probably because it's fresh from release and all the usual violent postmen keep going on strike. To offset this it looks as though Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei got lost in the post so I've had to give their customer services department a nudge.
