What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

Speaking of Media Blaster burned dvd media I made the mistake of buying the dvd set of Yamibo and the damn discs wouldn't play on any of my dvd players and the only bluray player that would was my Panasonic. Media Blasters said they would offer disc replacements but they never did.

I got my Sanrio speakers!! They are so fun and cute with remarkably decent sound quality considering they cost less than £9 each! The light shows are also really cool, my only complaint is you can't have both of them playing sound at the same time from the same device, so my plans of putting one in each room to play music/audiobooks from my laptop as I walk around my apartment for exercise are gonna need a lil tweaking, they're still really great though and I love the shell aesthetic. The necklace is also lovely and does fit round my relatively sturdy neck and do up comfortably, the Shein dress is nice but will prob give to charity as the fit's a little off, the Snag dresses are lovely though, just as nice as in the pics and I fancied up the purple one with a pin on brooch and some (also pin on) bows and wore it to my friend's place yesterday evening for a board games night. My order from Lolita Inside will likely arrive today so I'm v excited about that! :)

A couple of items from the Prime Day sales and a High Grade model kit of the YF-19 from Macross Plus. I've been a fan of that design since the 90s. The only reason I haven't bought a model of it previously is because I can't be bothered painting them anymore. 😅

Amazon, in their wisdom, shipped the kit in a paper bag, so the box is quite badly crushed and torn (I tried to straighten it out before taking the photo). Fortunately I can't see any damage to the kit itself.

Haven't picked up much recently as cutting back as realised i had nearly 350 anime collectors editions and needed to sell loads on vinted and prioritise stuff i actually want (huge amount of christmas mystery bundle and random stuff i picked up piled up over the years)

- but i picked up the shield hero s3 collectors recently in anticipation for the new season and am gonna pre order solo leveling collectors tonight

- if anyone has the our last crusade or rise of a new world American collectors edition in uk or the Arifueta s2 collectors - hit me up if want to sell as am looking to buy them

Recieved either today or yesterday, not sure as postman seen to be getting lazier and lazier
No card left but went out to backgarden 10 mins ago and were lying there in the sizzling sun, seems like he just threw it over the gate, id be surprised if they actually work as i didnt go in the backyard yesterday so may of been sat there for over 24 hours baking, and add insult to injury, spine of. Koyomimonogatari is damaged

I love both of these, especially the ice/glacier blue one - I had to add more ribbon to the lacing on the back of the waist belt cuz it was too smol for me without it, but now it fits really well I look so pretty in it, the detachable sleeves were also included and really help complete the look! The dress itself and the sleeves fit really well without any alterations, my only other criticism is for some strange reason there was a label on the outside of the dress near the neckline at the front, that I ended up trimming off as the writing is in I assume Chinese so I didn't see much point in keeping it attached, the little bit of it that is left is completely hidden by the ties on the strap sleeves so not a big problem :) The deeper blue dress doesn't look quite like the picture but is still pretty, a good fit and makes for good more casual wear as it's shorter. I'm really happy w these and would buy from this store again - they even threw in a free petticoat and bracelet, I will need to either adjust the petticoat or lose a bit more weight before I can wear it as it's a bit tight on me, but I appreciate it anyway, the bracelet is nice but will need mending as one of the connecting rings of metal is broken, still rly glad to have gotten all that lovely stuff though! :)

2025 HAUL - JULY v2

Got some more items this past week. More are on the way next week (and one group may be the week after due to how slow Rarewaves can be).

#02: Ring Fit Adventure
Since sometime earlier this month I have started the long journey to lose weight once again and I've done various approaches including using the dumbbells and long walks. I have also revisited the cross-trainer once last Wednesday but I remembered the rather super slow paced experiences and I wanted to diversify so that I don't feel demotivated. While I've done a lot, I've not lost any weight just yet but one thing I did do is finally go out of my way to pick up Nintendo's Ring Fit Adventure game for the Nintendo Switch.

The way this works is you have the ring component which you hold for most of the game plus a strap for your leg, each of these holds a Joycon. The game uses the motion controls for the various exercises you tackle, such as jogging and squats, and you can adjust the difficulty to fit your personal style. For me I picked the middle option and boy this game is pretty nuts on pushing you as far as it can. It's really good and its kept my heart rate around the 150 zone constantly, though my legs are knackered so my plan is to play this at least once a week (and maybe twice a week if my body gets used to it).

So early impressions are positive but best to do some early prep before you start this and the game does let you breathe so its not like you're under any time pressure during the process. Forgot to mention the exercises for a lot of the gameplay is basically turn-based combat.

I've been playing this on my Switch OLED instead of my Switch 2, but you can play this on Switch 2 but will require the Switch 1 Joycons for compatibility reasons.

Haul - Big Lebowski, Constantine & The Driver 4K Ultra HD.jpg

#03: The Big Lebowski, Constantine & The Driver
In town before I watched the new Superman film, I visited the HMV store to pick up more films for the 4K Ultra HD collection and make use of their 3 for £50 deal. It took a while to choose because some of the films that I wanted to get weren't in stock.

I left with The Big Lebowski, the 1998 film directed by the Coen Brothers (No Country for Old Men) starring Jeff Bridges (TRON) and John Goodman (The Flintstones), Constantine, the 2005 film directed by Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend) starring Keanu Reeves (The Matrix) and Rachel Weisz (The Mummy) which is based on the DC comic Hellblazer series, and The Driver, the 1978 film directed by Walter Hill (The Warriors) starring Ryan O'Neal (Barry Lyndon) and Bruce Dern (Silent Running).

Anime Haul - The 100 Girlfriends Season 1.jpg
Anime Haul - Tales of Wedding Rings Season 1.jpg

#05: Harem Double Pack
Bought two more anime shows from Amazon UK, one of which was recently part of the Prime Day deals.

We have The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You, the first season that aired in October 2023 adapted by studio Bibury Animation Studios and also one of my favourite harem shows of all time, and Tales of Wedding Rings, the first season that aired in January 2024 adapted by studio Staple Entertainment which I haven't seen but have been interested to check out for a while since the author of the manga wrote Dusk Maiden of Amnesia and To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts.
