What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

I managed to find the steelbook collectors edition of Project Itoh: Harmony for only £6 which was a steal. Sing Yesterday for Me and Rascal Dreams of Bunny Senpai are both from MVM.

I am currently playing We Love Katamari on PS plus but I always try to buy physical copies of games I really enjoy so I picked up the US version (no physical UK version :( ) Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes really interested me as I recently started playing the Suikoden remasters and I read it was headed by that series's creator that combined with the beautiful art style made me want to try it out. The Lunar Remastered set was recently on sale on Amazon and I had a voucher to use so I bought it even though it will likely be a while before I play them (I have a backlog of games almost as big as Mount Fuji 😁)

Astria Ascending and Cyberpunk were upgrades from the PS4 versions.

I bought a new MSI All-in-One PC to replace my 11-year old MSI AIO, so I won't have to deal with Windows 11 incompatibility, and also to rectify a few issues I've been having with it recently. I think I got my money's worth out of the old one, it has a 24" screen, 8 GB memory, an i5 2nd Generation processor, and an internal Blu-ray drive. I had upgraded the 1TB 2.5" spinning HDD to a 2TB SSD a few years ago. My new AIO was on sale for $350 off, at a price of $999:

MSI All-in-One Computer PRO AP272P 14M-600US Intel Core i7-14700 32GB DDR5 1TB PCIe SSD 27" Windows 11 Pro 64-bit

With the $350 I saved, I also purchased a 4TB SSD to install in the empty, internal 2.5" drive bay, and an external LG USB Blu-ray drive which I plan to mount onto the back of the PC (Velcro, perhaps?) to watch my anime Blu-rays with, just like I did with my old MSI with the internal Blu-ray drive. The new MSI looks just like a standard 27" monitor, with a wireless Keyboard and mouse.

I haven't set this up yet cuz I need a nano sim so I'll be going to O2 someday soon to get a nano sim copy of my current sim card made, I didn't really want a smartphone but they are shutting down the 3G network soon, so here we are. Will be nice being able to use Whatsapp though! XP

I'm well impressed that you held off for so long, but also disappointed that circumstances seem to be forcing you to get on the bandwagon!

Thankyou! I don't mind too much, though I don't really want all that biometric stuff on there so will prob try to find a way to remove it before I start using the phone :)

My collectors edition of Flow came today. I haven't seen it yet but I was sold on the trailer alone. It comes with some really cool little collectables, can't wait to watch it. Brian and Charles is my favourite movie I have seen so far this year. It is so charming, unique and heartwarming, I love everything about it. If you love quirky little indie films with a lot of heart I highly recommend it. Arcane, like most popular things, is something I got into late. I am so glad I decided to get it. I have only watched one episode I was blown away. The animation is absolutely gorgeous!1000019244.jpg1000019247.jpg

#20: Ishiro Honda Double Feature & Mothra
Eureka Entertainment ran a sale on their website dedicated to Japanese films and they had two older releases that I had yet to pick up for the collection, both happen to be from Japanese director Ishiro Honda and are part of the Masters of Cinema range.

We have the Ishiro Honda Double Feature collection that includes the 1958 film The H-Man (ē¾Žå„³ćØę¶²ä½“äŗŗé–“) and the 1959 film Battle in Outer Space (å®‡å®™å¤§ęˆ¦äŗ‰), both are science fiction stories that I hadn't heard of prior to Eureka's release, and this is the second print edition that doesn't include the slipcase but kept the booklet (which will go away in the next print run).

And there's also Mothra (ćƒ¢ć‚¹ćƒ©), the 1961 Japanese film and debut of the iconic Kaiju monster. This is the standard edition version which loses the rigid slipcase but still comes included with a booklet (which will also go away in the next print run).

I recommend giving the audio commentaries a go. They're all pretty interesting.

I've always had a soft spot for Battle in Outer Space. The plot and characters are a bit basic compared to some other Toho SF movies of that era, but the movie does what it says on the tin with gusto. I can't think of another SF movie that did such dynamic space battles until Star Wars rewrote the rule book 17 years later.

Lots of pants and bras from Shein, most of which look super cute and a good comfy fit on me (though underwire takes a little getting used to!), and a few other items from Shein that I really like as well, my friend also got me this lovely illustrated Robin Hood book when he saw it in a charity shop as he knows it's the kind of thing I love, I'm really excited to read it!
