What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

I received my second AL Xmas sale order this morning, which turned out to be some last chance stuff and a couple of films from the B1G1F section.

Very pleased to get the complete second season of Durarara without having to sell a limb and a kidney. I know this release does not include the OVAs, but I have those on my pirate drives anyway.

Then, a couple of B1G1F films I've had my eye on for a while, and that many others have recommended. I watched the Penguin Highway trailer and saw a coke can turn into a penguin in mid-air and was like: "Yo, I need to watch that!".

My first experience ordering from the UK Crunchyroll store.

It was dispatched from the Netherlands and it had a customs declaration on the box. I'm not sure if I would have had to pay customs if I spent over £135. This time I spent under that, but maybe something to look out for when ordering.

The packaging was not up to my standard, one sheet of packing paper (see photo). Trigun has a squished corner but everything else was fine. I probably won't ask for a replacement.

I was not expecting another Royal Mail delivery today, but I suppose they're working doubly hard during this period - which is always appreciated (luckily, I'm working from home today, or I would have had to have waited longer for these).

As a contrast from the above 'packaging' from Crunchyroll, Anime Limited are far and away the best online retailer (that I buy from) in terms of their packaging - even a couple of standard Blu-ray sets they will wrap in bubble-wrap. However, I was not expecting such extensive packaging for an ultimate edition I ordered.

This is a crap tonne of bubble-wrap, and the item is even inside another box!

And then, even inside the smaller box, there's little styrofoam protectors for the corners/edges!

Definitely no complaints about that. This is my first 'Ultimate Edition' from Anime Limited, I wasn't expecting it to be so big though.

And lastly, a few other little bits: Eureka Seven complete from the last chance sale, and Golden Time SE and Future Boy Conan from the B1G1F sale.

Orders 1 and 2 of All the Anime's 12 Days of Christmas Sale (funnily enough, I didn't receive the dispatch e-mail for order 2, which is still listed as unfulfilled on my account, but I did receive Royal Mail e-mails containing tracking).

My orders consist of:
Order 1 - Mobile Fighter G Gundam Parts 1 and 2 Blu-ray, Beautiful Bones: Sakurako's Investigation Blu-ray, Flowers of Evil Blu-ray, Your Name 4K UHD Blu-ray/Standard Blu-ray Combo and Love Live! Superstar Season 1 Blu-ray.
Order 2 - Harmony Collector's Edition Blu-ray/DVD Combo Steelcase, Durarara!! X2 (Sho, Ten and Ketsu) Collector's Edition Blu-ray and Sagrada Reset Blu-ray (MVM title).

A few things from various places arrived today. Schim looks really unique and the art style is brilliant. The Secret of Nihm is one of my favourite Don Bluth films so I was excited for this version to be released. I finally picked up The Irishman, I haven't seen it since it launched on Netflix so I am looking forward to watching it again. Fresh Start looks like the perfect game to relax with at the end of a long day

A whole range of large items delivered today of Super Sentai and Arcane goodies.

I was able to find a good deal on the Donbrothers Memorial Edition Donblaster (with pre-order bonus King-Ohger Avataro Gear) and Zanglass Sword on ebay the other day, and having started Donbrothers just a few days ago while on holiday in Germany and loving it, those two were no brainer pickups for me.

Alongside that I also got the replacement unit for my Kyoryuger Gaburevolver. The first version of it released in July had 2 or 3 voicelines mistakenly switched, which I didn't even realise until it Bandai announced replacements because the 100+ other voicelines played perfectly, but thanks to that I can sell the original version I have and probably get most if not all the money back I spent on it in the first place.

Finally I got two Arcane-related preorders in with both the Art and Making of Arcane Artbook and the S2 soundtrack on CD. I actually received the wrong variant of the CD however (I had bought the Vi one, not Jinx), so I've contacted the webstore's support to try see if I can get a replacement there.

I received a couple of OOP ecchi titles from eBay and elsewhere online in the mail today...

Isuca
Demon King Daimao

I included the packing slip I received with Demon King Daimao because there was a short note written on it from the seller. :)
