What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

A whole range of large items delivered today of Super Sentai and Arcane goodies.

I was able to find a good deal on the Donbrothers Memorial Edition Donblaster (with pre-order bonus King-Ohger Avataro Gear) and Zanglass Sword on ebay the other day, and having started Donbrothers just a few days ago while on holiday in Germany and loving it, those two were no brainer pickups for me.

Alongside that I also got the replacement unit for my Kyoryuger Gaburevolver. The first version of it released in July had 2 or 3 voicelines mistakenly switched, which I didn't even realise until it Bandai announced replacements because the 100+ other voicelines played perfectly, but thanks to that I can sell the original version I have and probably get most if not all the money back I spent on it in the first place.

Finally I got two Arcane-related preorders in with both the Art and Making of Arcane Artbook and the S2 soundtrack on CD. I actually received the wrong variant of the CD however (I had bought the Vi one, not Jinx), so I've contacted the webstore's support to try see if I can get a replacement there.

Sorry for not editing down to the relevant paragraph, but I just wanna say even though I'm not massively into action films I LOVE Speed, it's not really got any graphic violence (gore) in it making it ideal viewing for a sensitive soul like me, and Reeves and Bullock give great performances, I was gripped from start to finish! It was dispatched from the Netherlands and it had a customs declaration on the box. I'm not sure if I would have had to pay customs if I spent over £135. This time I spent under that, but maybe something to look out for when ordering.

The packaging was not up to my standard, one sheet of packing paper (see photo). Trigun has a squished corner but everything else was fine. I probably won't ask for a replacement.

Pretty sure there shouldn't be any issues for customs as VAT is taken during checkout. That being said, it's alarming their UK store is not based in the UK but rather in the Netherlands. I have two orders incoming from their store; one focused on 3 limited editions, and the other focused on around 6 regular releases.

They better not duck it up.

Then, a couple of B1G1F films I've had my eye on for a while, and that many others have recommended. I watched the Penguin Highway trailer and saw a coke can turn into a penguin in mid-air and was like: "Yo, I need to watch that!".

I second that, loved Penguin highway and the Utada song for the credits is a perfect bittersweet bookend. Wanted to read the book ever since and hopefully some day will get around to it. Liz is another masterpiece - gorgeous, gorgeous movie.
 
These arrived a few days ago, I like most of them but returned the green/coral shirt as the print quality of the image was terrible, I would note that while I do like the rainbow tree hoodie and jaguar/leopard sweatshirt, they do not have consistently stellar print quality overall - I would def recommend being careful on Temu to make sure a product has lots of good reviews before you buy and remember that sometimes there are multiple listings for the same thing but some will be higher quality hence the importance of reading reviews, particularly if you are buying items at additional discounts that are offered on the app, try to load up the exact same item product page on your computer to look for reviews (esp with photos or videos) before you buy - I've mostly been quite careful about that kind of stuff but have prob faltered a bit due to my depression/low mental state combined with all the Black Friday sales and deals of late, and want to help others avoid making the same mistakes :)

I thought you might say that! :P Unfortunately, given that it has no English dub it will likely be a while before I get around to it - I think when I bought it the product page on AL's webshop did say that it's got English audio, and that's part of why I bought it (the other reason is ofc cuz I've heard it's a rly good show)... I'm still working my way thru Is the Order a Rabbit?, that's about all the subbed anime I can handle at once haha XP

Oh well, I'll read your opinion in the future.
I got stuck with Is the Order a Rabbit at about episode 6. A bit too sugary sweet for me, I think.
I own all three seasons. 😭

As other people have stated the Last Chance items really set things off and I was really lucky to grab both the Ultimate Edition of Escaflowne and the Collector's Edition of Re:Zero Season One. I was really surprised by the Collector's Edition of Snow White, so that was a no brainer as well. And with A Silent Voice being one of my all time favorite anime movies I had to grab that one as well.

From the BOGOF sale I only really cared about G Gundam. From the Stocking Fillers aisle I got a bunch of MVM items and from the Collectors editions sale I grabbed Hula Fulla Dance and Deiji Meets Girl. Last but not least I bought Godzilla Minus One.

Out of all the Mystery boxes this one was the most interesting to me, although 4 of them are duplicates. I had standard editions for the bottom row (but I really like the Collector's Editions) and I already owned the Collectors Edition of Inuyasha. The only new item is something I don't care about, so that will be put in my stash of items to sell at some point.
