We have one package from last week and a few more in the past few days. I've been working last weekend and will be doing the same for this week and the next (we're a bit understaffed so they needed someone to work these so I had no choice). Either way, more packages so here we go.
The first package of the month arrived last week on Thursday and it's a Scifier haul. It's been a while since I have last made one and to be honest their packaging continues to be great because all of these books arrived in really solid condition. So as much as I like going into Travelling Man, the biggest issue I have with their offering is that its mainly only useful to buy manga from them if its in a 3 for 2 Viz Media deal but more importantly the increase of Italian pressed stock puts me off from picking up more volumes from them as of late.
But at the same time I also need to grow my Seven Seas collection because I don't want a repeat situation of a few years ago where stock was barely around. This is pretty much another catch-up haul for a select number of titles that I've been buying volumes for. Now there wasn't enough stock available to go for either The 100 Girlfriends or 2.5 Dimensional Seduction, so instead I focused on the others.
We have Booty Royale: Never Go Down in a Fight! Omnibus 5, Do You Love Big Girls? Volumes 7-8, Hitomi-chan is Shy with Strangers Volumes 6-7, Who Wants to Marry a Billionaire? Volumes 6-7, World's End Harem Volumes 15-16, and World's End Harem: Fantasia Volumes 10-11.
Booty Royale is a few omnibus books behind but the series did go on hiatus for a while so it may be a long wait before more is released. Do You Love Big Girls? is now up-to-date on the latest volumes available in English (with Volume 9 not out until 2025 last I checked), though I am worried about its release model going forward because for some reason Seven Seas decided to put out 2-in-1 omnibus editions whilst the singles is still being released. Hitomi-chan is Shy with Strangers is also a few volumes behind but fairly easy to catch up. Who Wants to Marry a Billionaire? is now complete, since there were only 7 volumes in total. World's End Harem has two more volumes before the series is completed and I believe its final volume is planned to be released in the next few months. And World's End Harem: Fantasia is also near the end of the story in Japan I believe.
Next we have a Crunchyroll UK haul which arrived last Sunday whilst I was working. This is from their latest sales batch which I believe is their Black Friday/Holiday sale offering but either way the prices were decent enough for me to pick up a few more of their recent releases.
Here we have three more isekai anime shows. I like isekai so yes it does automatically mean these are probably mediocre but who really cares anyway.
We have The Aristocrat's Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far, also known as Chronicles of an Aristocrat Reborn in Another World, adapted by studio EMT Squared and Magic Bus with director Noriyuki Nakamura, which aired during the April 2023 anime season. I seem to recall watching a clip where the main character was being ambushed by girls and he was crying for his dad for help him get out of there, and his dad was like "so long... boi" and yeeted himself away.
Next we have KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World, adapted by Studio Palette (the same animation studio who worked on The World's Finest Assassin and the infamous production mess for Our Last Crusade Season 2) with director Yuki Inaba, which aired during the April 2023 anime season. This series had my curiosity ever since I heard of its very bad CGI and a random scene where a dude's head was on a real life photo of a "tractor".
And then there's Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement, adapted by studio Felix Film with director Hiroshi Tamada, which aired during the January 2023 anime season. This one I know the least out of the three but some of you here picked it up so I figured I'll do the same (and it was £20 which was very cheap for a new release).
Last month I bought The Godfather Trilogy on 4K Ultra HD, this month I picked up three more mafia/gangster type films that many people love that I also have not seen before. These were all available as part of a 3 for £40 deal on Amazon.
So yes, I now own Martin Scorsese's 1995 film Casino, starring Robert De Niro, Sharon Stone, and Joe Pesci, Martin Scorsese's 1990 film Goodfellas, starring Robert De Niro, Ray Liotta, and Joe Pesci, and Brian De Palma's 1983 film Scarface, starring Al Pacino, on 4K Ultra HD as well.
Yesterday the latest Anime Limited collector's edition arrived and it's coming out before Crunchyroll would release their own.
Love Live! Sunshine!! spin-off series Yohane the Parhelion: Sunshine in the Mirror on Blu-ray. Because Crunchyroll have yet to produce an English dub of their own, Anime Limited jumped the gun and released theirs first as a subtitled only release (using Crunchyroll's font/subs for the English translation) whilst also using Com'on Screen to author the discs for the UK & France.
Also worth noting the bonus clips and Japanese shorts included with this release do not contain any subtitles which makes their inclusion pretty pointless.
Anyway, I don't foresee this release selling out any time soon so you are best waiting to see if Crunchyroll releases theirs in the coming months. You can view more photos & specs on my blog.
Another week another CeX story, traded £300 of anime and video games I completed and decided to get BW2, HG & Conquest. The CeX in city centre had 2 of them but learned lessons from last time & asked and both reprinted covers... so told them order it online. They arrived in one package via special delivery, all legitimate copies, manuals etc too! Just a shame had to play £6 extra cuz of postage ordering online, genuinely don't why they reprinting covers when rare games are behind the counter anyway?
Also one of the 4K BDs they charged me BD price so I lost about £20 which sucks but was my fault as I didn't have the BBFC backing and didn't mention it was 4K I assumed they'd check but yeah probably should have mentioned it oh well.
Here's a photo of my main wardrobe unit (it's an Edwardian Compactum) that's set up in my bedroom and full of clothes and whatnot now (though that photo is from the person I got it from that's not my room), I love it, I'm really happy with it and I put all my anime figurines and lil ornaments and stuff on the two shelves as well, I also had three pairs of bloomers arrive from Shein and they are really nice and I'm wearing the ones with the floral painting print on them rn! I got those three lipsticks and I like all of them too, the metallic deep blue is my fave cuz it stays on a really long time, the other two are pretty lit as well, though I would note that the metallic turquoise is more green relative to blue than it appears in the product image, the purple one's fab and looks great with sparkly lip gloss over it, but I think I might start only buying the liquid lipsticks that properly dry for lots of staying power after they are applied, and give up on buying other ones unless perhaps it's really hard to get that colour any other way. Iroduku arrived as well and I look forward to watching it soon (probably after I finish Gundam Unicorn)

I'm struggling for physical at the moment so a visit to HMV.
Looked at Dr Stone S1 but I've never persuaded myself I'll like it.
Spotted this at £14.99. They had two copies so I took advantage of someone's mistake.
Seems a bit nice for me but I'll balance it with a rewatch of The Aristocrat's Otherworldly Adventure. The kid in that is also powerful but he's a bit nuts.
