Well, not necessarily.... Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill happen to be my two least-favorite anime of all time, so they will never be a part of my anime collection, lol. I do own Code Geass, but have only seen about 8 episodes from it - it's just ok. Those kind of anime are just not my cup of tea...

Ah well, I have fairly narrow preferences when it comes to anime. The things I highly dislike and try to avoid in anime as much as possible:

Comedy (totally sucks in anime)
Chibi (just more comedy, with the addition of a lame art style)
Idol anime
CGDCT (No cutesy crap)
Yaoi or Yuri anime
Fanservice and Pantsu (especially watermelon boobies)
Battle-type Shounen anime (including ALL the Big 5 shounen)
Giant Mech or older, cartoony Mech
High School setting
Sports or Game-based anime (especially card-battle types)
Juvenile or younger Children's anime (like Pokemon)

So that doesn't leave me a whole lot to choose from, lol...

Nah, It's cool dude, we all have our preferences. Even as much as I try to be open-minded, I still know what I like and what I don't like. I mean, if you're not interested, you're not interested, no matter how much someone wants you to watch/do something!
