I love the US thin cases, I actually think they look waaaaay nicer than the fat UK cases. The recent ultra thin Sentai cases they have been using for about a year or so are great space savers and still look really nice.
 
Couple of things today.

Someone was selling My Hero Academia volumes 1-6 on eBay for £12.50, so I snapped them up since I've generally heard good things.

I also received the Beez limited edition sets of Gurren Lagann. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure why I bought them since I already own it all on Blu-Ray, but I got it for all for a really decent price, and it's a pretty cool set. Vol 1 comes with a collector's box that opens and closes magnetically at the front, a patch, a rubber badge, and a light-up drill core. Vol 2 comes with a 2-disc soundtrack CD also. My only complaint is that if you want to keep all the DVDs in the box, you're left with the physical goodies and the CD and slipcase from vol 2 seperately.

Ordered this about a month ago from Japan for the fairly cheap price of £20, and I'm fairly happy with it. Thought it was used but everything came sealed. Obviously, I can't speak Japanese, so the game itself isn't much good to me as anything but a collector's piece, although I may see if there's a fan translation. I mostly got it because it comes with a Figma and because I adore the art on that box. It's quite big, and hard to display though, and I'm not quite happy with where I've got it at the moment. I'd have room if I got rid of my GL UE and replaced it with the CE instead, so that's something I'm pondering.

I've received my copy of the Full Metal Panic! Collector's Edition (while it doesn't state collector's on their website the actual packaging does)

Season 1 is in a Scanavo case, and Fumoffu and Second raid are in Amarays.

Like it much more than the UE, I really wish this was the kinda packaging AL always went with tbh. Annoyingly one of the discs had come loose in transit and was rattling around in the case but it seems to be okay. Also when I took the back info sheet off it seems to have resulted in the lacquer (is that what it's called?) bubbling up a little where the glue was, is this just me this happens to or is it just such a little thing no one else moans about it? lol either way it's happened a few times before but I can't even remember what sets so clearly I'm over it.

My replacement bank card also arrived, which was a lot faster than I thought it would be as I only reported it lost on Thursday night.
