Suprised you didn't go for the hero steelbook if you have a bit of a thing for them... Zavvi have it for £6.99 and "under 200" left...

God dammit....I didn't know it existed, it's only 99p more too. Well, tempted to buy Hero again now lol.

Did you say it was one you had seen before? Could always watch and then buy if you do like it... Although if you do like crouching tiger / flying daggers then you'll probably like Hero.

Yeah I've never seen Hero before, I'll probably do that. To be honest I don't necessarily have a thing for steelbooks, I just usually grab them if they are available as the spines usually look nicer on the shelve.

I thought an artbox was just anything that was a solid card box. What's the difference? To me a boxset would be something like the Death Note set where it comes in a flimsy box. This set is really solid and thick.
 
Well regardless of whether you consider it an artbox or not, it's still far nicer to look at than the big ugly plastic cases they come in now days. Replaced my plastic ones with the boxes not too long ago, pretty cheaply too.

Really any box you place DVDs into whether paper, chipboard or metal is an technically an artbox. While I was indeed being pedantic (I was bored) I classify an artbox as something that is purchased to house a series (SAO2, Kill la Kill, Gurren Lagann etc) When a series comes complete in a set like that I prefer to regard it as just a case.

Having paid inflated prices over the years for Geneon and ADV artboxes I've developed a degree of artbox snibbery.
 
Kotobukiya Grelle Sutcliff...just have to wait for Undertaker to be released to have the full set.

Got bunch of stuff at once so decided to take a pic.



Lain i had partially seen previously but i couldn't finish it but i'm willing to give it another shot.

I saw recently the OVA version of El Hazard and it was a mess but i decided to still get the TV version because this series is from the same people than Tenchi and i haven't really liked Tenchi's OVA's either.

So hopefully the TV series is great just like Tenchi's TV version was.

The last two titles are all new to me.
