Received Baka & Test Season 2 & OVA Collections, K-On Season 2 Collection 2 & Xam'd Lost Memories Collection 2 today from Madman, they labelled it as 'dvd sample' again so it got through customs untouched
Indeed, I thought I had a bootleg when my first US slim case came through, (which was Clannad) I had to look up unboxing vids to just make sure hah! But not only do they look good they take up considerable less amount of space too.NormanicGrav said:Yeah a majority of the world's Blu-ray sets are thin cases. I think only the UK and Australia use the thick Blu-ray cases (whatever they're called). In fact Dragon Ball Z Kai actually uses the US cases that hold 4 discs (similar to Anime Limited's Durarara!! and Gurren Lagann).
At first I hated the slim cases (thanks to how the Kaze sets looked) but after seeing how they look on the shelf I don't mind them. Partially because the US sets don't cram logos everywhere, it's just a simple cover.
tl;dr
It'll look weird at first but once you have multiple shows in thin cases they look pretty good on the shelf.
That book is perfectly legitimate.ilmaestro said:Sweet haul, ayase, I'll even let the Slayers related item slide.
I got a ransom note for my Sword Art Online from madman by parcelforce. The reason...they opened the parcel and looked at the slip inside to calculate the charge. If they hadn't opened it then i wouldn't have got charged as the slip on the box said 'Sample DVD $5'.IncendiaryLemon said:On the down side I got a letter from Parcel Force. They're holding my Madman package hostage for £30. Jesus Christ. Didn't expect that at all, my last order made it through unscathed. Ugh. I guess I won't be getting Chuunibyou this month...
