What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

Code Geass: Akito the Exiled Vol.2 LE - Took about 14 days to get here, which isn't bad all things considered. Probably use Amazon for Vol.4 though, I don't mind paying extra.

I do have a question though, my package had a big purple sticker on it that said "Customs to Pay", so should I expect a bill or something? Just find it odd as the last time I got something caught up in customs (it was a fightstick, so a much bigger package), I had to go pay the fees before they would give me it, so curious why I have received this before any fees. :?

It was Royal Mail.

It was Royal Mail.

Shouldn't have to pay anything. RM don't make a habit of releasing packages without payment up front. Even way back the postman wouldnt hand you a VAT due package until you'd paid the fee to them.

The price is why I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy it too, seemed really low. Glad to hear it was legit, got yourself a pretty good deal there.

As Unknownfate says you pay up front if its RM. They push a silvercard through saying how much you owe in customs, you pay at the depot then get the parcel. So no idea why they stuck that on.
 
Received my first two Rarewaves amazon.it BDs today.

Tokyo Magnitude was supposed to be bundled with Elfen Lied (which hasn't arrived yet) but they apparently separated them into singles.
Unlike you UK folks it came straight from the US so there's a customs sticker.

Yeah I thought that would be the case but I found it strange so thought I best ask, would have been a really odd way to do thinks if they planned on billing me after I had my item lol thanks.
 
First order of two from Rarewaves (Amazon It) has arrived past 1pm which is very late in delivery terms over where I live.

Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar Part 2 from Funimation. Interesting enough, the English title for the series is actually not what the translated version means. Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari is the original name, which translates somewhere to 'Sage Machine Master Story in the Different World'. The series does however take part in the Ryo-Ohki! continuity taking place 15 years after GXP.

As for me, I really enjoyed the first part (Episodes 01-07) and out of the Part 2 sets that I needed, this one is probably my most anticipated. Each episode is about 40 minutes so there's quite a lot but it's a fun show. I am watching the series in Japanese as I like to keep continuity for watching franchises in the same language (they tend to keep the original VAs). While I did like the sound of the English dub for Ryo-Ohki, the lip-syncing ruined my enjoyment of the show (It's not the dub's fault though, a lot of the older dubs tend to feel out of sync with the mouths).

Mine was from Royal Mail as usual. If it helps the only thing that was on the front was my address and Rarewaves's address. Also has a Royal Mail 2 sticker on the top right.
 
The other one finally arrived. Considering it was only £9, I figured why not. I needed to get some catalog* titles in my collection anyway.
*These are shows that I watched in fansub form and do intend to get the legal version whenever I can.

Well seemed like it would be a slow week here, but a lot showed up today. Especially happy with Good Luck Girl! as this is very close to being OOP. Regarding Monogatari, only two missing now are Hanamonogatari and Koimonogatari.

Slayers came through supermart_usa and i did expect to be hit with a customs charge, but despite the value on the box significantly exceeding the 22 € limit, no custom charge. Happy that the gun said 'click' in the game called 'duck for customs'

Got my final parts from the amazon.it incident today. The two LE's weren't part of that. Got stung £20 customs on the Steins;Gate LE. (£8 of which was Royal Mails Extortion racket). But can't complain too much as the seller has left part 2 in the LE despite it only being sold as part one. It was an unusual route for a purchase too - A US BD being sold by a JP Seller on Amazon CA to be purchased by a UK buyer. Oh well.
