After receiving GiTS SAC 2nd Gig on Monday, below is the rest of what showed up during this week.
Higurashi, When They Cry was on my list for a while now, on the will-get-to-it-eventually list. But since Siren announced last week that they themselves have zero stock left, i ordered it immediately at UP1USA to be sure to get it before it goes completely OOP.

Where did you get Crest of the Stars?
I am thinking about picking up all episodes but the US Bandai release is quite rare now and some parts are going for an insane price. But the US version might be a dead end, since Banner of the Stars III was never released in the US and I doubt the reason why Funimation is sitting on the license is because they are trying to get BoTS III.
Seems no other way to own the series than to get the Japanese cheap "EMOTION the Best" version of the series. $52 /box set which has 4 DVD discs+an art book. I'll probably order all 3 box sets next month.

The higurashi set looks pretty awesome. It seems to have sold out on the siren official website though. May put down the £51 to get it as soon as possible.

Got these today at MCM:
I would show some pictures of the actual third KLK set itself, however my copy is ridiculously difficult to open. The booklet/digipack don't slide out like the previous sets (presumably as a result of the smaller box), and mine are pretty much stuck in there unless you pull the sides of the box and yank either one out. I picked up the MVM release of Log Horizon because I think it actually looks better than the Sentai version in part due to the reversible covers - that and it's a Sentai release. Sentai releases have been getting increasingly worse recently IMO, and I don't consider them worth the money for the standard import versions.

Any reason you bought the Aniplex sets and the Anime Ltd sets? That must have cost a fortune.

I also love what Andrew is doing, so I buy Anime Limited releases where possible. This isn't the first time I've bought an Aniplex title twice, although that was for completely different reasons. I also have the UK and US versions of Space Dandy.
