What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

Love Someday's Dreamers so much, nice pick up.

Also tempted to go for the physical version of FFXHD after seeing the Amano art, but buying physical copies of games is quite blah for me these days.

@ Unknownfate, didn't even know Kanon was so hard to come by. Actually had my eye for some time on the first Japanese BD release as this has English subtitles, but pricey off course

@ ilmaestro, thanks and i also liked Someday's Dreamers. Haven't finished the second series of 2008, has some awkward animation where they seem to use live scenery photos as background.

first of 3 blu-rays this month

So I found out recently that Tales of Hearts R, the remaster of Tales of Hearts for the Vita, is now unavailable/out of print/no longer available everywhere in retail form (you can still download the game on PSN). It's gone on Amazon and everywhere else is pretty much the same. So after finishing my last exam I decided to head to Town to see if I could find a copy of the game (or if not possibly at MCM) and to my surprise there was still a copy at Game for £24.99.

In other news, Knights of Sidonia Collector's Edition will be here sometime tomorrow.

Also got a shipping confirmation from UP1 regarding Knights of Sidonia, but will take a bit longer here as it has to cross the Channel :)

Seems that box set will also be able to house the second season, there is only a mention off this being Season 1 on the boxset in small print on the top of the box set.

WoW. I guess it was good that i decided to buy it month or two ago because i was fearing that if i didn't buy it just might go out of stock.

Probably would be kicking myself right now i hadn't.

I held off thinking "It's a Tales release so no hurry I'll pick it up when the price drops" then it went OOP. Bought a copy from CEX in the end. £22 used :( should have bought it from Amazon when it was £20 new. Got Xenoblade Chronicles 3D cheap though

Sentai Filmworks 3rd Collector's Edition release has been released early - It's the first season of Knights of Cydonia! I mean Knights of Sidonia...

The box is thinner than Chunibyo but it's still pretty big. By comparison it's about the size of a 2015 NIS America Premium set. The subtitles are proper subtitles, not dubtitles for those wondering.

Also another thing to note - I had a look at the second disc to check the special features. The Advanced Angles aren't there so it looks like the uncensored scenes are part of the episodes.

That set does look really nice, although I have to admit I'm not sure how I'd feel about a box that big - part of me thinks it's just a sort of notion of making it bigger just to justify the price point. For me at least, where shelf space is at a premium, sticking to regular sized sets is preferable.

Nice NormanicGrav :thumb: , hope mine arrives by the end of this week.

@Lutga, It also is 'that big' so it can house season 2 when that comes out. Just hoping Sentai doesn't mess this up when the season 2 keep cases come out and they don't fit in this box, but seeing the photos i don't think this will be the case.

Nice pick up Normanic! :)

I was tempted to buy the Sidonia set, but I just didn't like the series enough to warrant spending that much. Still an amazing set, though.

Great pick up! I was looking to get the lenticular set, but couldn't find it for a decent price. Ended up with the MVM Box for £14. Looks like you found one in great condition too. :p
