No Tachikoma were injured in the taking of this photo. It is just where he lives.

Wow....what do those bits sticking out of the bow do? It looks more complex than bows I'm used to seeing.
The top one is the sight, the other is a stabiliser that helps you hold the aim steady.

Great Scot! What do you plan to do with such an imposing contraption?
Make arrows hit a target with a fair amount of pace, just not where I actually want them to.

Speaking of phat, that looks like chunky speaker cable behind the bow. That the expensive cable you can get, like the monster stuff?
It is stuff from Richer Sounds so not that bad a few quid a metre stuff not not like the £20-30 or more that you can pay. Unfortunately with seven speakers on my home cinema amp even a couple of quid a metre adds up.

Preordered FF XIII. I'd better plan to take some time off over New Years after all.

Also grabbed the new G Dragon album, which will probably be awful. I ended up listening to one track over and over on Youtube on a quiet day though so I'll pretend that track alone was worth the cost.

Tekken 6 Special Edition. Sort of tempted to get the Persona remake and Layton but this is suddenly proving to be a very expensive quarter for games!

Went into my very first Forbidden Planet today in London. Purchased:

- Angel: ATF Volume 4
- Batman: The Killing Joke Deluxe.

I so wanted to buy everything, but had to restrain myself.

The I Am T-Pain app from the App Store. One of the funniest apps ever. If you do it right, you can sound exactly like T-Pain's autotuned voice. It also works for Kanye West stuff.

Very clever, Mutsumi :p

I just got back from buying Dan Brown's new book, The Lost Symbol, which has a gorgeous cover and was surprisingly cheap in Tescos at only €12. I'm pretty excited about reading this; I loved Angels and Demons and The Da Vinci Code. Brown is a pretty terrible writer but his books are very smart, entertaining and even informative :]

The thing is that Dan Brown doesn't write ******** at all. All of his stuff is extremely well researched; every thing he talks about actually exists - the symbolism, architecture, historical figures and events and organisations, etc. - they're all real. He just constructs a story around them. The Priory of Sion stuff was a hoax (and he should correct the foreword in The Da Vinci Code to admit that it isn't a real organisation afterall) but when he wrote the book, it was fairly reasonable to assume it was a real organisation. So his books are hugely informative and enlightening :p

You were in Newport and didn't ask for me to meet up with you!?

Just a sausage roll.
What can I say, I was "working".
(And what I mean by working is sitting there doing nothing for 7 hours because there weren't any tasks that had been left for me but I wasn't allowed to go home early)
