What did you BUY today?

Transmetropolitan volume 1
Good choice sir. Volume 1 is a little thin, but overall Transmet ties with Sandman for the title of "best western comic*" IMO. If you're familiar with the works of Hunter S. Thompson you'll enjoy it even more. If not, that's not a bad thing to look into if you enjoy it.

Space Marine - PS3
Some sweets and mini cheddars from poundland
Fine paintbrushes (sizes 1-4)
Tau Codex
Space Marine Codex
Chaos Black Citadel Paint
Indian meal on saturday night
Kfc yesterday
Tau Piranha skimmer
Legends of the Space Marines -Christian Dunn
Brothers of the Snake -Dan Abnett
10 x flying bases (for 99p, bargain)
Tau XV8 Crisis Battlesuit

What i want to buy (given half a chance)
Dawn of war 2 collection (£19.99 in GAME)
R.U.S.E for PS3

The Amazon price seems to be all over the place tbh (I guess it could be as certain sellers go out of stock), was back up to about £18 not long after I posted, so just keep checking I guess!

Will do, i've spoken with Spyro about it and he said its alot more fun when you have someone to play with (which is common sense with pc games lol) So if anyone owns it and is willing to team up or whatever i'll probably have to make a steam account and things so i'll post em in the gaming thread.

Anyway, despite lacking the free funds i've bought the following:

Paperback rulebook for 4.70 (not bad, other prices for it are over 10 atleast and this is in perfect condition)

Agreed, Transmetropolitan is fantastic, and it is defo worthy of consideration for being best western comic.

Also, ayase, it seems so very you. :) I mean that in a complementary sense.

I never though I'd be seen dead in gaming t-shirts
Always makes me sad to read comments like this, people shouldn't be embarrassed about their hobbies.

That said, I do still lol at the fact that the only the XL+ sizes seem to be on "low stock". ^^;

Renewed my Newtype subscription since I pay up front and I don't want to be gouged if the wobbly exchange rate trend continues. If it reverses, I'll be too happy to worry about having overpaid for Newtype.

FFVII and Metal Gear Solid tees from Insert Coin (buy one get one half price) to go in the wardrobe with my Heavy Rain, Shadow of the Colossus, and Fallout shirts. I never though I'd be seen dead in gaming t-shirts but these are too cool.

Some of those Tees are indeed kinda cool. I especially like the Zelda ones and the MGS one, mind you the MGS one is so subtle not even MGS fans would clock where that was from, like me,I didn't realize the brand in the game was even called Calbers lol. Still cool though.

Ordered Evangelion 1.11 and 2.22, Spaced and Ultimate Avengers vs New Ultimates from amazon, having finally got enough points from Student Panel for my voucher =D

Agreed. I didn't get that either =P THE ORANGE box company would be more recognisable, but non-gamers might think it was referring to The Orange Box =P
