18 episodes on one disk? Jesus...
Anime fans are quite lucky, you can easily fit upwards of 4 hours of live action footage on a disc and still have it look fairly good. A lot of studios will do just that, but anime studios seem to have resisted the temptation for the most part.

The Watchmen Motion Comic has 5.4 hours on a single disc, and it certainly doesn't look bad. (Although obviously, you probably couldn't do that with a fully animated show.)

I can't help feeling that the blurb on that "Comic Artist" cover is a little misleading. It kind of implies that Aito is constantly being sleazy and pursuing the girls but I wouldn't say that's quite right (at least the pursuit bit anyway). He's generally respectful, if somewhat stupid and lacking in tact. I kind of liked that about the show, it's very pervy and silly but it has occasional moments that are a bit more heartwarming too.

They're right to mention Mihari a lot though, since she's the best (which is impressive in a show that has a Rie Kugimiya Loli Tsundere).

The Persona4Ani LE looks pretty cool. I'll buy it to replace the craptastic Khazi releases I have.
The Comic Artists cover is the same BS Sentai pulled for Henneko. It's unnecessary, and for me it just makes the show less desirable to buy.
Fairy Tail cover is as expected. More Erza is never a bad thing. I'll be picking it up despite the fact I'm only on episode 100 so far...
The ARISE cover is questionable(?). I really hope that's not the artwork they choose to effectively "sell" the third and forth OVAs. Speaking of which, I do have to wonder what the release schedule for the fifth and final OVA will be. Standalone release, bundle with the movie or TV series release only?

The NIS covers look great as usual, although I really wish they wouldn't shove STANDARD EDITION on the Daily Lives box. It's completely unnecessary. Either way neither are shows I'll be buying, but at least they reminded me that I still need to get Kimi ni Todoke :D

I do agree that Sentai is pulling BS covers when they have a perfectly fine cover 'not final' to a very fanservicey cover 'final'. Glad they fixed it for some titles like Familiar of Zero.

With ARISE while the cover is rather questionable indeed, at least the Blu-rays will have the covers from the Japanese volumes right?

Funimation are putting out Fairy Tail pretty fast, I should really catch up and order Part 6 soon.

Daily Lives of High School Boys is a really good show. It works well on a few levels as well: As a counterpoint to "cute girls doing cute things" shows if you don't like them, as a "cute girls doing cute things" show (but with boys, mostly) if you do like them, as an examination of the reality of what boys and girls are like (and how they may not be so different after all) and as a comedy in general. I recommend it, especially if you like "sketch comedy" type shows. It's somewhat wacky, although perhaps not as much as Cromartie High School.

Maybe it's slightly betraying the purpose of the show but my top two favourite characters from the show are both female (being Ringo and Yassan, probably in that order, sorry Yassan). Still, the boys hold their own generally and at least one is a particularly strong contender (he does tend to get the majority of appearances as the show goes along, for good reason).

Other people clearly have a different idea to me of what the word "questionable" means. It's a nice pic of Motoko, what more do you want in a GitS cover? If something with the name recognition of Ghost in the Shell now needs the cover art to explain what it is to people then we're clearly living in dark times.

I think it was questionable as in the question, why are they using that art work over the original art work?

I have to say I don't like it, something's wrong with the face, I know it's got new designs and all but if that's what they look like I'm not too keen on it.
