No surprises to see they plan to make people pay through the nose for multiple volumes of SAO again.

Expelled from Paradise looks good though.

>Garden of Sinners Blurays
I wonder if this means that the production committee are allowing standard BD releases outside of Japan now. I know Kaze had that Limited BD Book years ago, but still, this is a series that should be had on BD.
The split on the discs seems total Khazi quality though. I mean, they've got at least 5 hours of video on disc 3 (no epilogue?), as well as three lossless audio tracks too. The fifth movie itself is something like 39gb on the JP disc.

It is the discs from the limited edition blu ray released normally. I will get the Japanese blu rays one day as they have the best video and audio quality.

Would love to get GoS on Blu Ray but not sure I'd trust Kaze to be the company to do it justice

The quality is probably pretty **** with 5 hours put onto 1 disc
They've done worse TBH. The first UK volume of Tiger & Bunny has 7 episodes (2h 48m) on one BD25.

I love my JP BD Box <3. With Mirai Fukuin coming out on BD from AniplexUSA, maybe there's hope that they will lead the way in distributing the films on BD in the west.

I wonder if an AOA would even be any cheaper XD
There isn't any reason for them to release a new blu ray box for the west because the Japanese one has subs and they aren't doing a dub any time soon.

Too bad Durarara doesn't come in a chipboard but rather in a thin box :(

It's a pity, but I bet Aniplex had to cut it out due to either 1) fans wanting cheaper products 2) they were on a loss in terms of how much they earned from the sales.

I hear Rebellion uses a much thicker cardboard box with embossing so I guess I can live with that from now on (well except for Sword Art Online II and Fate/stay night, those two better be chipboard).

Did Conqueror or Shambala not have a Blu Ray release in the States yet? It's been out here for a while now IIRC.

It has but the set went out of print fairly recently. It's just a Blu-ray re-release.
