Anime Limited's french counterpart has some interesting cover designs.

All of those are essentially the JP covers. ie. a good idea.

Shiki just shipped from UP1. They charged me double P&P and immediate delivery is not available now and it was being processed for 2 days. So all this a good sign it maybe the artbox, right?

If you pre-ordered it before the delay then there's a 50/50 chance you might have one of the last LE sets for Shiki.

Yeah, had mine on pre-order since March, and never cancelled. That's probably why.

If only I had known about the delay sooner. I wish FUNi announce delays properly, on their blog or FB Page. Like why isn't FT Part 12 solicited for September as they said?

Probably one of these scenarios:
- A slight delay and they'll place the set for October like One Piece Season Six
- One of the actors is in a situation that which they have to delay voice recording (like One Piece Season Six)
- They're busy preparing for Collection 3 and 4
- (insert rant about Funimation)

I'd highly doubt it as they'd most likely use the existing material they have to create the masters for the new complete collection.

Heck, you can't even trust them when they state that a release is 1080i when in fact it isn't like to love ru which was actually 720p (I always wondered why it triggered PAL60 mode on my CRT, so I ran it on my old philips blu ray player which is now connected to my fathers 50 inch plasma which tells you what it's running at when you press one button) which would explain why the picture quality is rather sketchy in places (the picture quality on the second season is miles better).

To Love Ru is an upscale until Darkness. Was the same way in Japan. You'll probably find The files are 1080i60.

Would 13 episodes at 1080i be able to fit into around 46GB of used disc space (just for info, motto to love ru used under 47GB for 12 episodes at (and the plasma has confirmed this) 1080p)

Also those titles that are at 1080i never trigger PAL60/NTSC mode on my TV, so I'll have to believe what the big TV is saying that it's 720p and not 1080i

It just occurs to me that now Toradora is on BD I don't seem to have any items on my 'I really wish they'd release/upgrade this' list, all other shows are now an inevitable release somewhere down the line.

Something kinda awesome about seeing this many premium sets in one space

It just occurs to me that now Toradora is on BD I don't seem to have any items on my 'I really wish they'd release/upgrade this' list, all other shows are now an inevitable release somewhere down the line.

Not to mention it sold out instantly and for that NIS have done a second batch for the demand.

I've never watched Toradora! before so I'm pretty excited to watch the series, especially when it's finally on Blu-ray.

Well it's not out yet for Blu-ray (It's July 1st I think), I've got it pre-ordered and will test it when it arrives (assuming UP1 can get the stock for the release date).

I really wish it would work, but I honestly don't have much hope. I'm even pondering buying it and then buying the UK version, putting the UK BDs in the US case

It would be extremely expensive, though... But Toradora is one of my all time faves. I really don't know >_>

Wow nice, It's one of my favourites, I'm always surprised that so many others are waiting for it too as it's doesn't seem like it'd be a massive show like Fate/Zero or AoT but there's clearly a big demand for it.

Just checked my order status at UP1 and it's not showing as being processed (pre-orders get processed before they update the website to say they have stock). Unless they get it in today it looks like it'll be next week, so we are unlikely to get it before Weds/Thursday. I'd best mop up my odds and ends of shows to watch this weekend so I have time next weekend

I dunno if I'll be getting one of the first batch of Toradora sets or not because I didn't order until a few weeks ago. Oh well. if I don't get one till late July I'll have some more time to list my premium DVD sets on ebay and free up some shelf space. Or maybe not (/lazy).

Doubtful that it will work, but if it does I'll take the plunge with Cardcaptor Sakura.
