Dammit I already have that art since it's the wraparound for the artboxes, but I want that poster. Anyone want to sell me theirs for like $30? :p

Apparently people aren't happy with this release. Not just because of the pricing but because there is no English dub. So it looks like they took the Monogatari approach with this series (Blu-ray only, no soundtrack, pretty much barebones) except there's no booklet, quite a shame.
The comments section on ANN can be summed up as "Muh Dubs", "Dat Price" and "Aniplex a ****". I'm glad Aniplex ignores these people and keeps on doing good in the world.

Anyway, Valvrave. Is it any good?

I enjoyed it. It's basically Code Geass in space, with tonnes of mechs and a ridiculously bonkers TM Revolution opening theme.

Also, probably one of the most morally questionable episodes I've seen in recent anime that'd no doubt have an 18 slapped on it straight away when it comes over here.

And funny enough the show was rated 16+ for the Aniplex release, same with Nisemonogatari.

But yeah it will probably get an 18 over here.

Glad I picked up that Media Blasters DVD boxset of Moribito when I had the chance now. Viz Region A locks me out of the Blu, and the original Blu's quality issues put me off.

Little update. A user on Fandom said the BD audio is listed as Linear PCM Stereo 2.0 for both the Japanese and English.

FYI The JP BDs have two LPCM tracks - Japanese and Commentary. I'm assuming they've replaced the commentary track with the Dub.

Yeah I know. I saw the info over on Aniblu. When I saw that info I was guessing that without the commentary the English might be lossless, was just waiting for confirmation.

Glad I picked mine up a while back then. Looking back at that release I've suddenly noticed it was a combi, and all the recent Nisa stuff has been BD only. I guess the upcoming Toradora is a combi aswell but it looks like for the new stuff they are going BD only.

Will order Nyaruko: Crawling with Love! Second Season Premium Edition as soon as it comes up on UP1USA

anyone here picking up CCS?
I've checked blu-ray.com and most NIS America releases are region B,C untested. And some are confirmed A,B. So fingers crossed!

I considered it but after noticing what the packaging is like I'm not so sure now (overlapping discs is not the best thing in the world, but in this case at least it's not in a digipack). It's about £120 on UP1USA so I may pick it up if there's still time since it's selling out quite faster than I expected.

Only daily lives of high school boys is region free.

A majority of the rest are zone A only, but can be played on a UK PS3 with the most recent releases being fully locked to zone A so CCS is most likely going to be locked to zone A with no workarounds (the confirmed A+B are likely to be those that work in a UK PS3 and have been misleadingly classed as confirmed A+B).

Ahhh right, that makes sense. Guess they fixed the workaround then.

Just got to hope it get's licensed in either here or Australia, then.
