Sentai's cover design team with another couple of winners. The F/KL cover does nothing special, but it's still a great example of design.

They do seem to be very good at picking the right art, the right placement for the main title, and also keeping the extra wording small and to a minimum.

I think I'll wait on Fate/Kaleid to see which is the better release

Blood_Lad.jpg

Contains episodes 1-10 plus the OVA and a 96-page booklet, all housed in a premium chipboard artbox!

Special Features: Actor Interviews, Character Profiles, English Dub Outtakes.
Spoken Languages: English, Japanese, English subtitles.
Release Date: September 2nd 2014
SRP Price: $69.99

This is tempting. Damn you Viz.

This is basically the K treatment, not that I'm complaining (I still need to get that release).

Also, Gatchaman Crowds has been delayed to September 2nd. Doesn't include the Director's Cut of the final episode.

That yellow background. ZE GOGGLES...!

Still, the 96-page booklet and completely logo-free covers make it a more enticing proposition than the Anime Limited release.

EXACTLY what I was thinking. Their release of K was very nice, so I'm very much considering importing once again.

I quite like the look of the Blood Lad release, but to be honest I thought AL would probably just give this a standard amaray release to keep the price down and considering its only 11 eps and to be super honest it wasn't an amazing series (great set up that just turned into a generic fight anime). But Given whats available AL will most likely do a similar release.

Bootlegtastic.

Seriously though, that is one of the worst covers I have ever seen, and that's saying something.

Oh, come on now. The "Anime Collection" blood thing is pretty awful, as is the placement of the logos at the bottom, but it's still got nothing on CPM's old stinkers.

Hanabee covers (some will be exactly what the UK version will look like aside from it's rating in the near future):

Code:Breaker screenshots have been revealed (pics found on Rightstuf Forum), back info states Region A and 1 (like Attack on Titan, originally A, B, 1, 2 & 4 so there's some hope plus the Australian release is given an A & B).

I really like this release, had a look at the trailer and it looks interesting. Might pick it up.

Surprised by the AoT artwork, would have thought it would have been set in the forest given that so much of the second half takes place there.

Agreed. Plus it's spoilerific, definitely not what I would of chosen.

I was also thinking it felt like a spoiler. If they really wanted the Female Titan on the cover I reckon it should have been in shadow or a silhouette, not in a way that makes it fairly obvious who it is.

It's also way too cool for Funi to use it as a cover, I think "artwork is not final" is very correct there.

Those Aussie covers... those classification stickers still get me every time. Hhhhhnnnngggghhhhh Frau on their R;N cover though.

Looking at those stickers makes me realise we don't have it quite so bad with our BBFC logos.

I notice Madman shifted their logo up a little on that cover to not obscure the artwork too.

MayoChiki on 2 discs, guess I can safely order now. Though Not 100% on this or the previous cover though.
