For £10 I took a chance on From The New World, unlike when it was released, I now have two players and a BD Rom, so it's bound to work on one of them. I was also going to spring for Accel World, but then I read my review for it.

Shame about the disc issue though. Mine didnt work on PS4 but i got it working on PS3.

The complete series version plays fine on my ps4?

MVM version used different discs to Sentai.

I thought you ment the sentai parts didn't work. Oops.
Also mvm never released it as a complete series so I avoided it. Otherwise I think I would of had the same issues.

It's really too bad the show isn't really popular just about anywhere in the world. Or a reauthoring may be been made feasible. (And I certainly would have love a CE for it. Not even Japan has one.)

Yeah it was caused by Hanabee's authoring which who MVM then used

From the New World part 2 disc 1 (disc 3) never worked on my old players but works fine on my recent Sony UBP X-700.

I was on about the complete collection as I don't collect part sets.
I confirm the complete collection is geolocked.

I believe its part 1 disc 2 that has the issue.

Mine gets past the MVM logo then black screens.

The first part played fine for me, it was part two I had problems with

Don't worry, I hear with age you can lightning bolt a tree. We shall see what happens when I get it, but since it's just sale stick, it's likely I might be bitten too

Picked up God Eater and Accel World on Blu Ray from the MVM sale. Once again own Accel World already, but CeX will give me £7 for the DVD I own, so £3 for an upgrade isn't too shabby.

Best will always be private sale, but CEX can be good for a quick flip.
