UK Anime Blu-ray & DVD Bargains

You can tell them. But I've never known them to do anything when told... (Although I've only told them 3 or 4 times)...

From what people have said on blu-ray.com, I think they only price match if one of the big supermarkets is beating them.

Are Kaze releases that bad, huh? I am kind of out of the loop when it comes to UK releases.
Yes, they are bad.
Funi's complete release of Future Diary on BD also only costs £30. Khazi's set is more for half the episodes.

Has the price on anyones Amazon order for FMP dropped to their current price yet as mine hasn't.
Mine has, I ordered it when it was £136.85 and it's now £136.84.

You could just put a new order in and then cancel your old one if you want it to be up to date right away. I'm not sure if they'd all update at the same time anyway though so it might just take a little while longer (I think they aim for 48 or 72 hours and I have had it take around that long to update on some orders).

There was that issue where it was listed as out of stock rather than for pre-order, although it seemed like it was going to apply the pre-order price guarantee for people after all. Has anyone who ordered before the release date change had their price update yet?
My price was refusing to shift so I contacted them a second time and they're still not getting it. The first time they re-applied the £10 coupon and this time they've just told me what the pre-order promise is. The price on my order has been stuck at £139.99.
If it ever goes £10 below that I'm just going to have to cancel and re-order.

It seems to be at least partly luck of the draw if you get someone that actually has some idea what they're doing. It might be worth contacting them by a different method to see how you get on. I haven't used the support very often but I did once get a discount code when I was having a problem. I think I found the online chat slightly more useful but it would also take longer.

Still, if you spend a long time on it for a £10 difference or whatever then it may not really be worth it.

Zavvi apparently isn't great at packaging (sees examples from folks who ordered Gurren Lagann Ultimate Edition and Attack on Titan Part 1 CE).
Had no problem with the packaging for my GL Ultimate set, it came in a big cardboard mailer just like Amazon use.

Had a problem with my order being stuck in the system though and had to get their very slow customer services to deal with it.
