MVM Deal of the Week is: Pumpkin Scissors Complete Collection - £9.99

In the wake of the Great War, Lieutenant Alice Malvin assumes command of the Imperial Army's Intelligence Section III - a ragtag bunch of pencil-pushers used to spread military propaganda. But Malvin, an idealistic soldier who refuses to rest while her people suffer, yearns to cut through the thick skin of deception perpetrated by power-crazed nobles. When her investigation reveals a clandestine super-soldier program known as The Invisible Nine, she finds herself trapped in a whirlwind of deadly secrets.

The closer Malvin gets to exposing government corruption, the less likely her beloved IS3 is to survive. With the fate of the Empire hanging in the balance, Malvin turns to an unlikely ally - Randel Orland, a hulking veteran who may hold the key to unlocking the mysteries of The Invisible Nine. In a world where nobility and power make the rules, the truth can get an honest soldier killed.

I got this last time it was on DOTW but not watched it yet...

Some good Blu-Ray deals on Amazon at the moment:

Spirited Away BR for only £10.06

Bleach movies 1 and 3 on BR for only £4.99 each.

I'm gonna pick up Pumpkin Scissors. I've heard fair to middling things about it, and it looks like the sort of show I can happily take a punt on for a tenner.

Space Dandy S2 CE just dropped to 44.99 preorder on Amazon.

I already had it on pre-order but I tend to re-order and cancel the old one when this type of thing happens so I can see the new price right away and also move it further forwards in my order list.

A few impressive drops on upcoming titles on Amazon:

Tokyo Ghoul Blu-Ray down to £37.22
Knights of Cydonia Blu-Ray down to £25
Space Dandy season 2 Blu-Ray down to £44.99

I wonder if these drops have anything to do with their upcoming 'prime day' sale they are having on 15th July?

Might be worth getting a 30 day free subscription to see what they are reducing.

The descriptions from Funimation were odd. So to me that sounds like the standard has the artbox, and the limited has artbox and artbook. I don't like Funi's "specialty packaging."

The Standard Edition with all 51 episodes and a selection of special on-disc features enclosed in collectible packaging

The Limited Edition with the full series, a collectible art book and art cards in specialty packaging

The Collector’s Edition with the full series, art cards and collector’s prints, specialty packing including an Alchemy Tome and Briefcase, and a collectible art book with the best images from the series

UP1USA have the FMA Blu-Ray set for around £33 (shipping included) currently on the site. UK site about £5 more.

Not too bad considering even at TRSI before shipping it's about £28

The limited edition and collector's are also up. I'm going for the standard edition. I don't like Funimation's special edition digipaks or sleeves.

That's a very good price. Have regions been confirmed yet?

Ah, damn, that's a shame.

Time to go Region Free! ;) Or at least Region A for one player and Region B for another that's what i do.

Similar thing for me. Laptop: Region A, PS3 & UK Blu-ray Player: Region B.

I'll probably go with the standard edition, especially if it gets an artbox too. Sounds like a steal, considering the episode count.
