I wasn't basing it off that, but more reports sales in Japan, and the US weren't great, and Jerome (Manga) mentioned during the interview podcast he did the other week that it hadn't done anywhere near what they'd hoped, and he'd be really dissapointed in the takeup, especially as he had expected/believed it should be doing far better than it has been.
 
I know there are folks with a few quibbles about that show, but I freakin' LOVE Gantz! The whole thing feels like a throwback to the days when anime had that edgy and new 'anything can happen' feel about it. Well, for me, anyway.

Quality show. No excuse not to nab it!
 
yes gantz is something different and very good indeed. One of my favourite seriess too. Unfortunately these kinda series are disappearing since nowadays almost everything revolves around cute (??) girls and stuff like that. :evil:

Its really annoying. Where all the good old action series... Damn times changed :(
 
play.com is doing a clearance campaign and has around 70 anime items in it.
There are some good stuff but nothing really stands out imo. Pay attetion cause when this campaign started there was only around 30 anime itens and now they are near 70 so they might add some more titles.

they have a big sale but nothing really went down regarding the price. The cheap stuff were there already. I just bought blade of the immortal collection which was 11£ monday and then they rise it up again in the same day. BoftI is part or was part of the campaign and i paid attention if the price was the same or if it could come down. Tnks to price watch I was warned it went down i bought it next minute. :D Glade i did it after that because it went up a few hours later and stock was gone too. eheh

I have price watch oh champloo, tenjou tenge e flcl which are in that big sale. Let's hope...
