It's one of sentai bang zoom dubs isn't it. But I've seen all KyoAni show subs don't plan to change yet.

Also, especially the movie when they go to London, it kind of takes away from the enjoyment because they already speak English and you're not hearing them attempting to do so and messing up etc.
When you watch a show dubbed first and really enjoy it, it can feel strange to listen to different voices than you're used to (the same goes for watching things subtitled first, of course). I still watch Azumanga Daioh dubbed, it's about as great in Japanese but it's slightly different so I miss the little things that the English dub does (and since I tend to stick to the English dub, I don't get used to the Japanese version).mrclt1994 said:Yeah, not sure why one would want to watch K-ON! Dubbed anyway, slice of life shows imo are best watched subbed.

Yeah I've noticed that too, it makes me a bit sad tbh but at the same time I could just join the discord chat if I actually cared all that much lol I guess there's a difference between sitting in a chat talking to people and reading replies on a forum and as someone who just pops onto the forum and reads what's been said a few times a day I'd miss most conversations on Discord anyway. But awk well, at least I still get the news......NormanicGrav said:....Heck ever since the Discord chat came to existence this entire forum has been rather quiet.....
Yeah this Friday should get some conversations going (it's when Funimation will unveil their October line-up).Buzzkillington said:Yeah I've noticed that too, it makes me a bit sad tbh but at the same time I could just join the discord chat if I actually cared all that much lol I guess there's a difference between sitting in a chat talking to people and reading replies on a forum and as someone who just pops onto the forum and reads what's been said a few times a day I'd miss most conversations on Discord anyway. Why the friggedy frigg won't United Publications let you pay for out of stock items via PayPal? This has prevented me from ordering LOADS of stuff from them in the past. If I can place an order with Otaku.co.uk for goods listed as 'available to order' using PayPal, it seems really odd that I can't do the same with UP1.
Sincerely,

Just to validate your Google-fu, I'd say it's probably a mistake on Amazons part. Unless they've split the volumes up differently for this release I guess? If your first book ends on chapter 6 I'd go with the mistake.IncendiaryLemon said:I'm reading the Manga series Paradise Residence at the moment, and, according to MAL, it only had 3 volumes. However, looking on Amazon, not only is there a 3rd volume coming out, but a 4th and 5th. Are these just incorrect listings?
Lutga said:Quick question - what volumes of the manga does the My Hero Academia anime cover up to? Ie. Once I've finished the anime, where should I pick the manga up from?

Do you want to start reading immediately? There's a second cour coming.

The anime has only covered about 2.5 volumes worth of material, so far.
