Yeah that one totally baffled us as well. Surely revived means something that hasn't been available for years, but now is? Examples like Tenchi, Escaflowne etc. As you say, Brotherhood has been available for ages.

Lol, and I'm just the opposite, with Marnie taking over my number 1 favorite slot over long-standing Nausicaa. Earthsea had to drop a place when Marnie was released, but it had been close to top 10 for me as well. My bottom of the barrel Ghibli movie is definitely Ponyo. It's pretty, but too childish for me to enjoy. Same reason why I ranked Totoro only a couple spots above it.
My thoughts exactly, Tenchi Muyo was a great release and I hope the other series' get released in the future.

Classic reboot of a classic but really something to follow a classic manga more closely. I would say with brotherhood's weird decision to exist in the way that it does ties it in along with FMA'03 as a classic

My guess is that most of the voters don't know about Arrow. Having said that, as an X Japan fan I'm glad they won stuff, although it would be better if that band actually released their new album (after 20 years of waiting).
Arrow losing to Manga for Best Asian Movie Distributor is indeed hilarious considering pretty much all of my Asian cinema aside from the 88 Asia line are Arrow titles. Gotta love their Takashi Miike releases.
At least they got the best manga vote right. Tokyo Ghoul: Re has been amazing to read each week, damn Ishida and his unpredictability. His artwork has only gotten better and better as well.

No anime will be nominated as long as voters won't bother voting themselves or the production committee placing extremely tight regulations on how the films can be promoted.
I honestly don't know how the production committee expects to get a nomination while severely restricting availability of the movie to the voters.
