Wow, talk about someone completely missing the point. Well written post though! Were there any positive responses?

Someone did comment not long after about sharing their Crunchyroll premium account for society events, now that is cool. But of course the problem is that many want shows that Funimation have picked up.

I suppose that is somewhat of an issue, one I don't think there is a solution to.

As part of the Madogatari event which celebrates 40 years of studio SHAFT's neck turning works, a new concept movie will be shown for Puella Magi Madoka Magica tomorrow.

Is that Homura in the picture? It's kind of hard to tell.
It looks like it could be Homura with her hair tied up?

To be honest, I'm surprised it's taken this long for another Madoka Magica anime; although I guess Shinbo's been pretty preoccupied with Monogatari lately. Even if Magica Quartet can't get together to plot a new story, I thought one of the manga spin-off manga series' would have been adapted by now (after all, there are now more manga spin offs than episodes of the original anime).

As many people know, Madoka is my favourite show of all time, and the proposition of another series would be a double edged sword to me. On one hand they could make another amazing, 10/10 show but on the other hand, they could balls it up and tarnish the story and characters I love so much. If they get Urobuchi back writing it, they'll have my confidence, if not, I am going to be cautious. The last time there was a sequel to a Gen Urobuchi show without him back in the writer's chair it didn't go so well. At least with Shaft behind it you know it's going to look gorgeous, regardless of the quality of the show...

A new visual for the Sword Art Online Music Collection is revealed.

Scheduled for January 27th 2016 and priced at ¥ 4,860, the OST collection will contain the following:
- 131 tracks: 33 from S1 OST 1 + 27 from S1 OST 2 + 37 from S2 OST 1 + 19 from S2 OST 2 + 15 unreleased tracks.
- LE includes an additional disc featuring music from Yuki Kajiura's "Sword Art Online All Overture" performance at Pacifico Yokohama on Blu-ray

In other words if you missed out on the Aniplex Limited Editions of Season 1 and don't have the funds for Season 2 and just wanted the OST, this is a good time to dip in. A pretty sweet deal I must say. It's also worth pointing out that S1 OST 2 had a technical problem which wasn't noticed until this year so this upcoming set should have the fixed version.

This sort of treatment also happened with Madoka Magica a while back (which includes all three OST tracks from Aniplex LEs plus character songs and OP/ED as well as a few exclusives).

Illegal anime streaming site Kissanime has been DMCA's, there is hope in mankind. :thumb:

Except that there are still a bunch of idiots crying and demanding the site be saved, have they not heard of Crunchyroll? :x
Not to advocate illicit anime sites, but I sure don't like getting news that God Mars is on catalouge on CR and for that to mean I need to warm up my American Disguise Kit to watch it.

I'm still amazed that we can support more than one sort-of-terrible anime magazine in the UK these days
What's the other one?

MyM, though it has branched out a little. I haven't read it as recently as my last NEO experience but I wasn't impressed the last time I picked it up and it's become deeply involved with the MCM bunch, whose opinions on things like bootlegging are just as peculiar as those of the administrators of NEO.
Much as Shiroi said, I never see this magazine actually on sale so I'd completely forgotten about it! Looking at their latest issue, it seems like anime is the farthest thing from their mind these days.

Just Golden Time and Snafu for me from what I've seen of them.
I strongly encourage you to check out Humanity Has Declined on CR before it comes out.
