A new Full Metal Panic anime, finally! IT'S ABOUT GOD DAMNED TIME FOLKS. Now my hesitant side kicks in. Will this be a continuation from where it left off, a new fumoffu, or will it be an adaptation of FMP Another which is based years later? Please be a continuation. I want Continuing on my Own and beyond animated. I need this

So not only do we get FMP, which i've only been waiting 10 years for, we get that confirmation for Diamond is Unbreakable. God damn man, today is one hell of a day for anime announcements. IT'S TOO GOOD
 
It is a little funny when Anime Limited release something, things like this happen.

IIRC, Outlaw Star Blu-Ray in Japan was announced very soon after the DVD came out in the UK.
Now as soon as FMP comes out, a new series is announced.
 
My second favourite JoJo, so I'm excited. Can't wait to see Bowie-I mean Kira.

Good to know about more JoJo. I was slightly worried when it all went a bit quiet.

Anything come out of the Sunrise panel? I haven't seen anything around here (apart from I believe Turn A was confirmed somewhere?)

Sunrise panel is tomorrow at 12pm just before the Anime Ltd Part 2 Panel at 12:30pm.

The hype is real.
 
I don't get it, the entire show hovers around good, occasionally venturing into great, for me, but people talk about it like the second coming of Christ. I hear Battle in Egypt is better, maybe I just have seen far enough in...
 
If you're done with the first half of SC and you're still not really into it then you probably aren't going to get the hype. Although that being said, the two best fights happen during the Egypt arc, the Vanilla Ice fight and the final fight. For me, it's just a show that is insanely fun and creative with a bunch of memorable characters. It's kind of dumb and it embraces that and that's why I love it. I'd say that the whole show (Going from the 2011 anime through to the Egypt arc of SC) is easily in my top 10 anime.
 
I'm halfway through the first season, because I made the mistake of watching the TV Movie versions first. I'm kinda bored of it now. I know I could just skip, but the anorak in me refuses to let me.
