This whole thing is a bloody mess.

Still, there is one thing that we all should be glad upon - the Japanese Blu-ray sets have English subtitles.

It may not be the best thing in the world but it's certainly going to be better than crappy video quality, dubtitles and Warner template menus.

Just like JoJo lol

I must be one of the few people who liked the Terra Formars anime, so I'm glad I got the JP release.

I did enjoy it too though I'm not paying for JP release but I wouldnt probably buy a UK version anyway. Even though I've enjoyed the show, I'm not seeing myself rewatching it.

BBC did an interview with Hajime Isayama about how he came up with Attack on Titan.

During the early part of the interview he referenced a game that he was inspired by, it's been revealed on other similar interviews that the game he was referring to was Muv-Luv Alternative.

What's the name of that theme in that interview.... I haven't seen attack in titan
The song used at the very start of the interview is Guren no Yumiya (紅蓮の弓矢) by Linked Horizon, I don't know the one used in the clip from the trailer, but I don't remember it being used in the series so I'd guess it's from one of the compilation movies. I don't know the third song, used in the second trailer clip either.

Also, that clip is a little violent for BBC News is it not?

The other song I think was used is 'attack ON titan' which is the first song in the soundtrack.

I don't know because I didn't want to spoil so I stopped at the moment I heard the song

It fades out after about 2 seconds.

I believe all the clips are spoiler free (there's one that's maybe borderline, but it's edited so you can't tell exactly what's going on and it's really only set-up anyway, so I wouldn't count it). They don't even mention the actual plot of AoT besides huge giants eating people...

Somewhat irrelevant, but I'm presumably the only person that isn't that impressed by the AoT OST? Hiroyuki Sawano's music for Aldnoah.Zero is way better, even though the show itself is more than a bit ropey.

Sawano's works are hit or miss. With AoT there was only a few tracks I liked, same with Kill la Kill, same with Aldnoah.Zero.

I hear his work on Gundam Unicorn is great.

The O1 album he released a few weeks back is fantastic too - includes his OP/ED themes for both Aldnoah Zero and Seraph as well as a number of other tracks featuring vocalists like Aimer - the album is much more 'song' orientated than his soundtrack work but very much still in his style, and has an interesting mix of Japanese and English lyrics too.

That sounds really interesting.

Worth noting that if anybody is searching for it, it's actually credited to "SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]", and is available digitally on iTunes and Amazon.

That's one of the things I really like about him - like Yoko Kanno and Yuki Kajiura, he can do both the soundtrack stuff and straight up amazing pop songs equally well (ie. the catchy stuff) - hence why his stuff is so memorable.

I didn't know they were available,cheers.

I'm indifferent about him. His music by itself is alright but altogether it does become a little homogenized. In any case I'm interested in getting my hands on Xenoblade X and hearing the full soundtrack for that. Me being me I've already listened to a few of the tracks and they sound great. People are upset that it goes against the grain in regards to what's expect of a typical JRPG of this nature (think the original Xenoblade) and it would have been awesome to have another soundtrack from Manami Kiyota, ACE+ and Yoko Shimomura but that's fine, after all the original Xenoblade was a one in a blue moon affair :p

Hyped from xenoblade x. From what I've heard from the X soundtrack, I prefer the original xenoblade's but x's is still awesome! Only thing to be in suspense about it weather there is going to be the original dub...
