So a Chinese streaming site leaked news of Season 2 and Funi leaked news of S3.
Does that mean someone in the UK will leak a potential future forth project ;D

Seeing as my Japanese is minimal at best and I don't always trust google translate, can anyone confirm that this upcoming release of Little Witch Academia does indeed contain the first OVA? (I'm assuming it does since it lists both names on the back cover, but it's listed under the Enchanted Parade). I know Trigger offer the first individually through their shop, but that set looks too good to pass up on.

The runtime is listed as 194 minutes and judging by the loose translation both OVAs could be on there.

Symphogear s3 v1 adds 1610/279, total 19,707. 20k next week.

Overlord v1 adds 588/222, total 11,145.

Gate v1 adds 488 BDs, total 5,841.

Spring update:
Fate UBW s2 sells 32,806, as a one-shot BD box. 37% underestimated.

Utapri s3 v4 sells 12826/6828, total 19,654. In all likelihood, this will drop to about a 36k average, and UBW will end up a bit higher as the best-selling Spring show.

Gintama v3 adds 310 BDs, total 5,943.

Past seasons:
World Trigger v8 sells 984/399, total 1,383.

Sailor Moon Crystal v12 sells 285 DVDs, total 2,480 with last month’s BDs. v13, final volume, sells 1,959 BDs, DVDs next month. Series average: 2,995.

Deremas v5 adds 372 BDs, total 23,527.

Kuroko's Basketball s3 v6 adds 253 DVDs, total 11,846.

Jojo Stardust Crusaders v6, final volume, adds 599 BDs, total 9,181. Series average: 9,854. All up to the long tail to maybe take this over 10k.

OVAs, Movies, Boxsets etc:
Kyoukai no Kanata Movie 2, Mirai-hen sells 5165/1450, total 6,606. Was also sold at theaters, those sales are unreported. Not great but the series only averaged 4,505 to begin with I guess.

Tamayura Movie 2, Hibiki sells 2962/436, total 3,398. These sales are depressing, but I guess it’s a better wk1 than the first movie… for what that’s worth. The Amazon bias is also crazy, this was overestimated 76/152%. I really hope this is a satisfying passion project for the staff because I cannot fathom these films being very profitable.

HanaIro BD Box re-release sells 993. Total 3,635 with the first box.

Devilman BD Box sells 467.

Looking forward to that Tokyo Ghoul release. Also gotta wonder what the print run was for Kill La Kill part 3 was, it'd be interesting to see how many units it actually shifted.

*This replacement scheme are for those who picked up the early bird set from MCM Comic Con London in October 2014*

Everyone else who picked up the set from online and normal retailers don't need to do this.

In terms of the issue, one of the episodes had an audio sync problem. They fixed it for those who pre-ordered but others who bought it at MCM got the defect. At MCM it was £40 at the time which was cheaper than any other retailer.
 
I imagine Anime Ltd are keen to get a regular priced edition of KLK out too, as it's probably much more likely to be stocked by the likes of HMV instore, and appeal to casuals who didn't want to shell out for the pricey collectors editions before.

A complete DVD collection of the whole series would probably sell like hot cakes.
 
Yeah, that doesn't surprise me - especially considering we still haven't even seen a complete collection of SAO season 1. Tbf though - that more casual audience is probably looking more to places like Netflix for titles like that. The number of people I've seen saying they're getting into anime through AOT and the likes being on Netflix far outweighs people coming in from the more traditional otaku routes.

SAO is a massive property though, and I imagine even with the 'deluxe' version, it's still selling very well - especially considering the pre-order price was very attractive on Amazon.

I think the reason why they're coming in from places like Netflix and Hulu is obvious, who the hell has ever heard of Crunchyroll (without already being into anime)?

Also, there's a degree of filtering on Netflix, it's only completed series with some resolution, and people are perhaps more honest in their appraisals, so you're more likely to find something good. (Even the much derided Sailor Moon Crystal has 4.5 stars on Crunchyroll.)
