The News Thread (for news that does not need a thread)

I've only used it once but their player seems fine. My only issue is no matter what I set the resolution to it stays at 360p. That's a pretty big flaw but is by no means unusable.
 
Are you signed in? For some reason Daisuki logs me out all the time so I have to manually log in before each episode, but once I am I have access to the higher resolutions. The player isn't very reliable though.

I'm really enjoying Season 1 so far, it's so good. I hope the Discotek release does well.

'Third Stage' reminds me of how Initial D names their seasons. Still need to watch that one as well.

Apparently there's a site dedicated to getting insulted by the Monogatari cast.

To celebrate the release of the Owarimonogatari TV anime and the publication of Orokamonogatari, the latest Monogatari light novel from Nisio Isin and Vofan, Kadokawa has published a special "fool's only" promotional website that allows its viewers to be insulted by the heroines of the Monogatari series.

The website automatically cycles through an avalanche of insults from various characters, but there's also a banner on the left that allows users to pick a specific character by which to be scorned and verbally abused. You can check out the website here.

Kizumonogatari was suggested as a starting point by Nisio Isin when Vertical picked it up. It's the first chronologically in the storyline.

Nisio Isin and his team are helping out with the English translation so it would be pretty faithful. Hopefully the novel sells well for more of them to be licensed.

ONA or TV series? Also, the fact I had to look up broadcast orders speaks volumes, I may hate the title Durarara!!x2, but at least it's clear which order they go in.

Just looked it up, Viewster only has the first 12. It's good enough, if I like I'll see how much the DVDs are.

Then I'll realise it's Aniplex and faint...
