Wow, that's really ******. The fact they didn't even give a reason is even worse. I honestly can't see a genuinely good reason to raise the qualification for delivery.
Doesn't really affect me that much seeing as Amazon only do free shipping to Ireland if you spend over £25, and has always been that way even when there was no minimum spend for the UK.Lutga said:Bad news for anime fans - you'll now have to pay £20 or over to qualify for free delivery on Amazon > http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tech/news/a ... Best to get all those pre-orders in as big bulk orders then.

GolGotha said:I sent Manga a tweet pointing out that a comment on one of their FB posts was linking to an illegal website and I was surprised, not only did they comment back saying thanks for bringing it to their attention, but they asked me to send them a DM with my address so they can 'send me a treat for being to vigilant'.
Will let you know what I receive, if anyone is at all interested lol

Eh, I don't buy that much from Amazon these days anyway as their prices are usually atrocious (outside of the occasional preorder bargain). Still, that sucks for people who don't shop around.Lutga said:Bad news for anime fans - you'll now have to pay £20 or over to qualify for free delivery on Amazon.
Cool, it's about time this got a UK release and I can finally find out what the hell a 'Chunnibyou' is. Should also be interesting to see what Animatsu consider 'deluxe' packaging to be.sniper_samurai said:Animatsu just announced that they are releasing Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! on August 24th in a "deluxe" bluray set and dvd.

Very cool point, Amazon's vice like grip on all aspects of sales and distribution definitely has knock on effects that aren't always obvious.Lawrence said:Amazon should definitely pay their taxes, I agree but the postal thing seems fairly acceptable.
