Aniplex list various other official distributors on their website, as far as I know the only product that was exclusively handled by TRSI was Oreimo? Even if they are TRSI exclusives, I imagine one of the importers like up1 will just buy direct from TRSI and sell it on here at a premium. There will always be ways.

It's ok for me to a point as my partner is American and I can just get stuff sent to her parent's house in her name, just sucks as I have to wait until one of us flies over there next (or pay for having it sent on again).

*Doesn't have volume 3 pre-ordered from anywhere yet; with volume 2 on pre-order from UP1*

If worst comes to worst...I'll have to bug some American friends and pay them for postage and their troubles sigh*.

As far as I can see, only TRSI are listed on the Madoka BD/DVD page - anyone else who stocks it, including UP, will have bought it direct from TRSI (hence the markups). I didn't think of this before but UP do have a US presence, so I'm sure they will be able to source copies.

Been catching up with Manga's twitter

I can't remember if it has ever come up before, but he's said "yep" to Steins;Gate being a possible release and that "it would be good" if manga could release Cardcaptor Sakura (which is surprising considering it is a long, sub-only release and he has gone on record before saying he's never touching CLAMP again after the failure of xxxHolic).

Well it finally happened.

There will be nine season box-sets in all, including the first season set, so that the whole Dragon Ball Z series is released (291 episodes).

The schedule for sets two to eight is as follows:

Series 2 - 27th August 2012

Series 3 - 1st October 2012

Series 4 - 5th November 2012

The first season set will contain the following special features: "Revised English dialogue – English voice track with original Japanese music in Dolby 5.1," "Dragon Ball Z Rebirth featurette," "A New Look featurette," and textless opening and closing.

Between 1984 and 1995, Akira Toriyama created 519 installments of the original manga for the publisher Shueisha and its Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The manga's 42 compiled volumes have sold over 150 million copies in Japan and over 300 million copies worldwide. Both the manga and its anime adaptations (Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z) have enjoyed success in countries in Asia, Europe, North America, and South America.

Lol manga's twitter acoount is good for one thing. Comedy gold! I am taking anything they say in that thing with a pinch of salt, through i would buy both of those shows if they got licensed!

And the next part of Kimi Ni Todoke has been dated. I love NIS America. I'll put in orders for both shortly.

The first two Madoka Magica films (the two recap ones) now have titles, according to ANN:
Beginning Story and Eternal Story

The first film will open this Autumn.

Also, Oreimo has a season 2. Now, let us hope that isn't an April Fools xD
