I do have to wonder how things are done when it comes to AllTheAnime licenses, and maybe Andrew can answer this if he's still around.
Does Andrew handle all the licenses for both territories or does @Anime have their own team who seek out French licenses only?
If it's the former, do they tend to look at licensing for both UK and France for titles rather than one over the other?
I manage both by and large - and it really depends! I like both if we can but it doesn't stop me going for one territory or another - for example would have been crazy to NOT take Attack on Titan and Sword Art Online 2 in France...alas not an option for me in the UK though!
You know what would be crazy, as in awesome, if you could somehow license Clannad for France and get a deal with Manga where you add the English dub and subs to the BD and get Manga let's say eg. 750 copies to sell in the UK. =3
I think @Anime could do the UK a good few favors if it's remotely possible to do. I'm personally all in for a Clannad BD if this needed some play-testing.
(I really want to own Clannad on Blu-ray... ^_^)

Well, nobody has licensed it for the USA yet. So who could the dub be for...

Haha! Well, in that case, I look forward to adding it to my collection.
I'd look forward to December then
.
Hmmmm... How about picking up something I'm dying to own next? =P (I'm only half-joking here, I'd like to scratch something from the "dying to own"-list. =P)
But, to the point: I think your trailer for the English dubbed Giovanni's Island shall greatly influence my decision about getting this movie, as I can't tell whether I'd like (to watch) it.

And to take the risk down even further only do 1,000 copies like a
true limited edition. No offense to Andrew but giving Durarara!! a 3,000 print run and calling it "limited" really isn't considering MVM's standard print run is 1,500
With all due respect, but:
1) I rather have a "limited edition" with 3000 copies floating around than with Fate/Zero where you basically have one month to order your copy.
2) 1500 copies feels small, it makes me panic about what to do with certain titles, especially since the messed up spines devalue a lot of their titles.
3) The word "limited" means there's a limit to it that has been defined beforehand. So whether that limit is above the standard run (of a different company) doesn't matter. So it's truly limited.
4) Doing 1000 copies might not be more viable than doing a print run of 3000. I mean, to maximize profits of the LEs Anime Ltd releases they like to delay the regular edition by a year.*
---> Let's say they run out of LEs to sell after 6 weeks like with Fate/Zero, that'd mean they "can't" fill in demand for customers for 46~ weeks to stick to their usual business model.
---> I mean, if there's one thing you better not do, it is piss people expecting it to be unavailable for so long off by moving something forward a lot as "they could have waited if they had known".
---> (there're always people who'd rather buy a regular edition, but simply can't wait a year, but can eg. wait an extra 3 months)
---> [I know I didn't explain this point all that well, but I think it's not hard to understand what I'm coming from]
5) ...
* Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann being an exception, Andrew has explained why that is before. (And for who's wondering, I'm still fed up by the release format of TTGL)

Wasn't that the one that sold so badly in Japan they made a custom twitter avatar for every buyer?

The initial series averaged slightly under 1k sales which is bad but there are plenty that do worse. The series went viral, though, and the boxset ranked with sales of almost 5k copies - about the same number as Clannad's boxset.
I think it was pretty low budget too and considering an OVA was recently released with decent sales to boot, I don't think J.C. staff are feeling too impoverished.
Hey, know what? I don't care whether it bombed in Japan in this case. Whether it bombed elsewhere is not to the point, it has an English dub and seems like a fun series.
So what is to the point is that I want it, and I want it yesterday. I WANT IT, and that's ALL I have to say about it.
And if you think I'm wrong... *changes camera to right-sided frog perspective* KILL. ME. BABY. [\serious]
Nota bene: If it failed in Japan, and got an English dub in USA, isn't it reason the more to expect it to be licensed in the UK next to in the USA?

Oh yes, because if anything's going to get through BBFC it's Oreimo; the show that ends with the MC marrying his Sister who's a frickin' Mary Sue of the highest order.
I've heard the whole "It won't possibly pass the BBFC"-thing tens of times before... And it ended up passing anyway.
While I haven't seen OreImo myself, it can't be that bad... Enough people like to watch a thriller/horror. (;P) [\serious]
Plus, quite honestly, I think some people's reasoning for not liking OreImo is flawed... And don't get me wrong, I respect your opinion and am not trying to convince you incest is alright.
But what I'm getting at is the fact people giving up "incest" as the reason why they don't like OreImo often don't tend to use the same logic/reasoning when judging other anime...
Which makes me sometimes suspect I'm reading stuff from and/or talking to future detainees, outlaws or inmates.
Don't get me wrong, I do
NOT condone of incest
in real life either
(just like I don't condone of some other stuff I like in anime)! ^_~
Nota bene: "you" is a metaphor for any hater of OreImo for the reason of "incest".
Note bene 2: I apologize to anyone who feels offended by what I just said.

The real question though, is how many of us will still be alive to see Evangelion 4.44?
*calls cops* OKAY, I GOT ONE OF 'EM, HE's PLANNING TO GO ON A KILLING SPREE BEFORE EVANGELION 4.44 IS RELEASED.
[:my apologies for capslock]

Just to give some clarification on the Madoka Movies there is no definitive update about these coming to the UK via Manga UK at this time. That's NOT to say they won't be coming to the UK via Manga UK, but as things stand there's nothing to report. If/when that changes we'll make it known.
Good to hear all hope ain't dead yet.

I hope Sentai Filmworks have asked the Japanese for the actual 1080p masters and are re-authoring Bodacious Space Pirates to 1080p, and if that's the case I hope MVM will delay their BD release for Bodacious Space Pirates and release the superior new BDs. I don't mind seeing the complete collection delayed to December or so.
If they are using Hanabee discs, well they released a complete collection in March so I doubt they will be re-releasing it any time soon.
I believe they initially told Mangaranga they were planning to use the Hanabee discs, but on FaceBook it sounded like they might be delaying it in favor of seeing whether the new Sentai version is better.
As far as I'm aware MVM actually got shipped Blu-ray Disc copies from Sentai Filmworks for Another (and a few other titles), instead of Hanabee, so it isn't impossible for MVM to query the new 3-disc complete collection.
Especially since the initial volumes of Bodacious Space Pirates were region A+B, the new complete collection could/should be as well.
