Gah, I'm an idiot. An idiot with a persistent headache right now which isn't helping much..SnowWolf said:That's the new Cardcaptor Sakura blu ray release by NIS America. Sailor Moon never had a dub by Animax Asia and is definitely getting redubbed by Viz.
A Viz Media US license does not mean a Kaze license. If it was a ShoPro title, maybe, but it's not.ConanThe3rd said:Sailor Moon is a Viz joint so that means the first port of call is Kaze and Animax (UK) and that will utterly bury Sailor Moon in ways that MVM of 2001 could only dream of.
FUNimation has rights for UK/IE and AU/NZ for at least the first season (for streaming at least) and the Madman cases had a FUNi logo on which puts the ball in Manga's court. Like Shuffle it seems like they have passed on it? It possibly doesn't help that Madman's S1 discs are NTSC according to their website.Jon O Fun said:As for Haganai that was one of the titles I was hoping someone would announce at MCM, its out on blu in Australia
You can watch Shuffle! in the UK legally on YouTube and Viewster so FUNimation have the UK license. Manga have said a couple of times that they are not interested.windcott said:shuffle
Ooh, first time I get to use purple on my spreadsheet (Red for ub-only, blue for NTSC).Elaniel said:Garden of Sinners will be NTSC according to MVM on twitter.
They did, before they were hacked and both my credit and debit cards got used. They may have decided it is best not to keep a permanent record of payment details at all.... since then all orders I have placed have been through PayPal which always means immediate payment anyway.Agent-347 said:They do take the money right away, sadly enough.bakum4tsu said:Do you know if AoL takes the money right away or just when they send?
They should really look into implementing the pending-system as when I pre-ordered with Zavvi they didn't take the money right away.

Had another look just now, and the lip sync for the English dub isn't all that great, which doesn't help. The one way to check is if the foley is in time with the on screen action, and the audio does get a smidge ahead of the action in the English dub at the second half of episode 1. I've seen worse though.

Mangaranga said:I've only watched a little bit of Episode 1 despite having it a week, but does the English dub seem slightly out of sync to you?Elaniel said:Got my copy of Outlaw Star today. Not a fan of the case. Could be susceptible to loose discs (mine had one) and there's a lethal sharp bit of plastic inside the case (that's obviously used for the red security bar that places like HMV use) and could scratch a disc.

About 10 minutes into episode 1 in English and the audio / sound effects are ahead of the picture.
Could this be a curse of using the upgraded video? Not sure if it could be related.
At 7:37 when he fires the gun it's blatantly ahead of the video. Japan audio is perfectly in sync.

Elaniel said:Sorry, I didn't want to be nitpicky. It's not really noticeable unless you are looking for it. It's more the sound effects than the lip flaps I picked up on. The Japanese side is great though.
