Probably going to be A, then again Daily Lives of Highschool Boys was region free.

Oh really Grav? I wasn't aware of that. If it doesn't get announced this year I'll pick it up.

Looking forward to the GL set, but there's a problem for probably some of you. It's out in the same month as the Cardcaptor Sakura Premium Edition Blu-ray set, you know this:

That is going to be a problem. Most likely I'll be getting Cardcaptor Sakura in March 2015 - it's when I get my annual bonus and therefore the window for buying any premium titles. If nothing else I'll be freeing up a few acres of shelf space by by replacing my dvd's.

I've been a bit curious with the £16,000 target for Patema's UE so I did some maths and therefore to reach their target mark they'll need 400 people donating £40 for the Ultimate Edition slot. Taking the entirety of the £35 slot will only give them £10,500 total.

I hope Viz releases a 13+14 Omnibus to match the other sets.

Someone on this forum confirmed that it's B compatible but baring in mind it's a premium set. I wonder if it will get picked up for the UK.

I do wonder what the odds of that happening are. I mean, with Mai Mai Miracle there was the support from the Americas to help reach the goal.

I hope the patema kickstarter is successful. 438 backers spread across the 35 and 40 options are required, not counting the other tiers. The fact France is involved too could help considerably.

If you click on backers at the top, it will list all 1903 backers, stating name and location. Wish they'd show some sort of chart instead, would be a lot easier :/

Yeah that's what I meant lol. If it's a case of over 400 backing Mai Mai Miracle from UK alaone then this really shouldn't be that hard as there's every reason to think the same people could potentially back this.

IE doesnt say how many matches there were just the "there are over 100 matches) for "UK" :/

edit - copied and pasted in to Word, now take in to account not all backers have a country listed:

305 - UK
15 - Netherlands
11 - France
7 - Belgium
6 - Switzerland

There's also 8 in Ireland

Re the Kickstarter numbers - you're absolutely right, the 300 early birds makes up £10,500 and you'd still need 138 backers of the £40 tier to make it. So it depends if it works like Amazon for pre-orders.

What I posit however to folks even if you want a regular edition in the UK:

- This is a way to support Anime Ltd directly, no middlemen barring 10% to Kickstarter and a lot more direct than any other way of doing things.

- We're charging if not better than comparable to Amazon on the Regular & Collectors editions with a promise of shipment in advance of the main release - so you'll get it at least 2-4 weeks ahead being my goal. We have the dub already in my hands, so I'm just paying access fees for the extras + translating them, but I am very confident of our release dates there.

- It's a website everyone can trust for management of cards + payment - so another reason to support it and one of the key reasons we're trialling the model on Kickstarter.

All in all - I hope people do support it as it allows us to do far cooler things at far saner prices. If it works too we have a key way of showing other licensors the model makes sense and do more cool things at cool prices :).

Hope that makes sense! No real digs or points- just thought given what is being discussed people may like to hear :).

MVM have Nekomonogatari ..out in August : https://twitter.com/MVM_UK/status/46183 ... 92/photo/1 DVD & BD.

Yasssssssss.

That tweets not clear but presumably just Black/Kuro given it was a stand alone OAV, while White/Shiro technically forms part of the 2nd season.

Definitely good for the industry to see someone trying something new, feels like we were in the same old rut for a while.

Yeah, the whole confusion of the Monogatari franchise made it really hard for me to write my front page piece in any detail, as I have admittedly yet to watch it (Bakemonogatari is on Daisuki though if I remember correctly?). AniplexUSA also released Nisemonogatari Black by itself and have a release for White planned, making it even more confusing.

Considering the release style of the Monogatari franchise here, I'd assume the two would be separated anyway.

Chronologically of the whole Monogatari anime story:
Kizumonogatari [Damaged Goods Story/Koyomi Vamp]
Nekomonogatari Black [Cat Story Black/Tsubasa Family]
Bakemonogatari [Ghost Story/Hitagi Crab, Mayoi Snail, Suruga Monkey, Nadeko Snake & Tsubasa Cat]
Nisemonogatari [Imposter Story/Karen Bee & Tsukihi Phoenix]
Monogatari Second Season: Nekomonogatari White [Cat Story White/Tsubasa Tiger]
Monogatari Second Season: Kabukimonogatari [Slope Story/Mayoi Jiangshi]
Monogatari Second Season +Alpha: Hanamonogatari [Flower Story/Suruga Devil]
Monogatari Second Season: Otorimonogatari [Decoy Story/Nadeko Medusa]
Monogatari Second Season: Onimonogatari [Demon Story/Shinobu Time]
Monogatari Second Season: Koimonogatari [Love Story/Hitagi End]

Release order for Monogatari anime story:
Bakemonogatari [Ghost Story/Hitagi Crab, Mayoi Snail, Suruga Monkey, Nadeko Snake & Tsubasa Cat]
Nisemonogatari [Imposter Story/Karen Bee & Tsukihi Phoenix]
Nekomonogatari Black [Cat Story Black/Tsubasa Family]
Monogatari Second Season: Nekomonogatari White [Cat Story White/Tsubasa Tiger]
Monogatari Second Season: Kabukimonogatari [Slope Story/Mayoi Jiangshi]
Monogatari Second Season: Otorimonogatari [Decoy Story/Nadeko Medusa]
Monogatari Second Season: Onimonogatari [Demon Story/Shinobu Time]
Monogatari Second Season: Koimonogatari [Love Story/Hitagi End]
Monogatari Second Season +Alpha: Hanamonogatari [Flower Story/Suruga Devil]
Kizumonogatari [Damaged Goods Story/Koyomi Vamp]

Kizu is a movie and is basically TBA in terms of release date, I'd say 2015 to be the least.
