The News Thread (for news that does not need a thread)

News post will follow shortly, but atlus just announced Persona 4: The Golden Animation - so new Persona 4 series. i can't tell if it's TV, OVAs or what. will update as i know.(this is off the persona live stream by the by)

I believe it's a TV series to premiere in July. Regardless of what format it is, it's happening in July. :)

Its apparently to retell some of the events from the original series plus focus on events 3 years after the anime/game. The 3 years later bit comes from ANN, so i want some clarification on it. It would cover stuff never touched on in the games, so i'm not convinced on it yet


EDIT: Seems ANN removed it, i think they mis-heard things. So yeah, it's a new TV anime retelling Persona 4 with the elements of Golden, Marie, Adachi social link, etc.
 
I pledged £75. Money will be going out between MCM Comic Con and my pay day, but oh well. I want that "Associate Producer" credit =3. Might adjust it to a lower tier pledge depending on how my month goes though. Shame it didn't end a week later xD.
 
After calculating the titles that I have planned for Q3, I have upgraded my donation to £--. Everything is getting delayed so why the hell not.

EDIT: On second thought, I decided to go back to £40 because if you think about it, something big could occur in the summer and I might not have the cash for that.

First one isn't showing. Yes those other examples are bad, but to be honest, you tend to find that sort of quality in majority of shows at least once in unimportant/background scenes, I must have just gotten used to it haha!

I actually hope Aniplex USA license P4GA and dub it with the original cast again.
The original game dub is really good, but the anime dub was pretty meh. Some of the characters lines were out of character too.
Probably had something to do with the fact it's a Sentai dub...

On an unrelated note, can you no longer kickstart through Amazon or Paypal?
I'm 99% sure I backed stuff through Amazon Payments before, yet there isn't an option now. It's asking for my card info instead.
 
I've never backed anything on Kickstarter before. It says your card doesn't get charged until the product gets funded and ends. Do they mean when it hits the £16k goal (which it will today most likely) or when the target ends (29 days)?

When the target ends the money will go through.

Thanks for the confirmation. That's interesting though. Wonder what happens if say a small product gets funded by a small amount of people, and some guy pledges, lets say, thousands, and then when the target date comes they try to charge the card and it has nothing, meaning the funds don't hit the goal. Would the entire thing have to get scrapped?
