Judging by the Audio options and seemingly lacking of an English Signs/songs track, I'm assuming your release of Tiger and Bunny The Beginning is Viz's release locked to region B, Andrew?
Would you also happen to know whether your release of Durarara uses the same files from Aniplex's disc, or whether it's compressed down? (Episode files on Aniplex's discs are 6-7gb each.)
I might still get Durarara if your release also uses the JP BD masters.

Probably is, the Australian Blu-ray release was cancelled from what I remember.

Same content - but we authored our own discs. Can only make use of the assets you're given by the licensor though!

Best,

AP

Hmm, guess I'll be finding out how those 1-disc releases look sooner than I thought since I have to grab Cuticle Detective Inaba. At least it's not the kind of show I buy for the visuals >_>;

In regards to the Outlaw Star delay, I think this quote from Shigeru Miyamoto is quite apt:
"A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is bad forever."
(Just replace "game" with "release").

One thing that I've come to really appreciate about Anime Limited, is Andrew and the others have made it really clear many times that their aim is to give us the best quality product they can. Whenever they have had to delay something though, we always have Andrew coming onto the forum and explaining exactly why - and more often than not, it's because of that aim of giving us the best quality product.

Even minor things like the issue on the extras of MangaUK's Sword Art Online volume 2 (and the cover issue with volume 1 too 9.9) have prevented me from being purchasing them, because I know they are things that could have been easily avoided but simply overlooked (well, the issue with the volume 1 cover is Aniplex's fault, but I wonder if MangaUK could have fought it harder) - I'm glad MangaUK are fixing both issues, but I won't be buying Sword Art Online until they do. I don't have as much disposable income as I used to (which is why I haven't imported a blu-ray since K-ON! season 2), so I like to know that what I do spend it on is the best it can be.

Good to see that QC is finding these things!

Unlike a certain US distributor who keeps on failing to pick up even the slightest errors before release even though they promised to get on top of their QC issues.

MVM have now confirmed that Girls und Panzer is coming to BD.

#GirlsUndPanzer WILL be coming onto BD. We're hoping stock will be finished to release same time as DVD but might be a small delay.

I'm surprised by this, is the show really worth risking a bluray release? From what i've seen of it on CR...its not really that good surely?

Well to be honest it's a happy fun anime and I liked

I also feel it's an odd title for MVM to be putting out on BD, it doesn't immediately strike me as a big seller - unless this is just the start of MVM making a bigger push towards blu-ray releases.

It's possible they worked something out with Hanabee to get a BBFC logo on the disc, or the costs have come down enough that like Manga they can start putting more stuff on BD in general.

Outlaw Star delay: I appreciate that Andrew is against releasing discs that have relatively minor faults when other distros happily release discs with mistimed subtitles, mono audio, and whatever else, and then go lalalalalala i can't hear youuuu when told about it. Having said that, it IS kind of ridiculous that these things keep getting found months after the original release date. Oh well, what's a few more weeks...

Girls und Panzer: I don't what this show's about (er, beyond girls and tanks) but the impression I get is of a light(er)-hearted Sora no Woto. Worth a punt, I reckon, especially if it helps convince MVM to release more shows on BD. Sankarea plz?

Couple new manga licenses from Viz for Assassination Classroom, Resident Evil and Jaco the Galactic Patrolman. As well as Master Keaton.

Will look forward to seeing how Assassination Classroom is and will pick up Master Keaton for definite since it's Urasawa (Yeah, he was only artist on it, but his art is lovely and Nagasaki was a writer on it and he co-plotted with Urasawa on his other work so I imagine it'll have a similar style).
Considering this recent announcement and how a new series was added to Jump just a couple of weeks ago, I'm surprised that Assassination Classroom wasn't the title added. I mean, they did serialise Nisekoi quite some time before it was eventually released.

I will definitely pick up Jaco the Galactric Patrolman and try out Assassination Classroom.

Don't recall seeing it posted, but Blood-C: The Last Dark deluxe edition is a HMV exclusive.
Looks good. But being foreign I don't really have a way of getting this, which is rather annoying seeing I love slipcovers.
Anyway, my March is expensive already if it comes to acquisitions, but I do hope to figure out a way to get the LE later.

Very neat! I shall be getting their release for sure then. :3 Haven't seen it before, but a UK BD saves me easily €20, and that pleases my wallet.
That being said I can't confirm or deny I'll be getting it in April though (or Q2 in its entirety) after getting 3 top priority titles in March.
I'll have to think about how I'll treat it, given I also want to get Fate/Zero LE boxset as well as Steins;Gate in June. (We'll see, no worries @MVM. ^_~)

But indeed, the future of MVM releasing blu-rays may as well lay in the hands of this release as this release was made possible, just like Kids on the Slope, by the large demand via social media.
And either way I'm wondering if the sales rates for MVM are different to Manga's, as Jerome stated if you exclude popular properties the dvd vs. BD sales are closer to 50/50 nowadays.
This basically means we're nearing a turning point for blu-ray (at least for anime)... So to me it does beg the question whether MVM are doing the right thing going dvd-only for most of their titles.
And yes, I can comprehend the financial reasons, but still... (I'm all in favour of more UK Blu-Ray releases, it saves me money and stress so yeah...)

I was never planning on getting this immediately, I just happen to have other priorities including 2 other Anime Ltd licences.
But I'm happy to hear it'll probably be closer to perfect than most other releases I own/want to own.

Anime Limited have Attack on Titan.... The Soundtrack
Interesting, I wonder whether they'll look into other soundtracks as well.
I definitely would love to buy the OST of Clannad and Angel Beats, though in all fairness I don't think either ever will happen.

When I asked on Facebook, Anime Limited did casually mention that they might be looking into Kill la Kill's - which definitely needs to happen.
