Wait a sec, an osbcure show (but I'm sure good show) like Mysterious Cities Of Gold Season 2 gets a UK BD release but something like Adventure Time (non-anime I know but I'm trying to make a point) does not?
You're clearly not an 80s kid.

Good news albeit unsurprising.
Grav, you seem to be a good news source. Do you know if English Subtitles have been confirmed for the Kara no Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin movie?

Nothing that I know of, people are still speculating about it since the main films did and were unable to contact AoJ because they end up getting directed to the AoA Garden of Sinners page.

Well if you like Space Dandy, the JP singles have the English dub and English subtitles.

@Mangaranga.

Thanks for the screenshots. You can really see the difference, especially in the last two. Might not be the best looking transfer ever but it looks like the Japanese release is the best there's going to be of GITS.

Is this the version you bought?

They state it's region free and has English subs. If this is the version, could you just confirm that please.

That's actually incredibly tempting... I'd love to see what sort of Physical/On Disc extras they come with though before I commit to buying an airing show from Japan.

It is indeed the copy I bought and it's English Dub & Sub, but just a tip. I bought mine for Amazon Japan. I've just checked and you can get it shipped with pre-paid tax for 62p more and you'll have it delivered in 2-4 days by courier.
If you do go that route though, you need to create an Amazon JP account and it'd be best to select the option to bill you in GBP rather than JPY so there's no bank charges.

Considering that the Japanese blu-ray for the first two films did, this isn't much of a surprise. I imagine AniplexUSA will sell it as an import release too.

If they do, then it'll be another chunk of money that I'll have to find to cover purchasing it.

Madoka Magica: Beginnings/Eternal Import Limited Edition is now OOP. The TV series LE will soon go OOP as well, leaving the Standard editions from UK and US left available.

The only thing I'm missing out and really tacked off about is the OST which is different to the TV version, shame. :(

I guess soon we'll see if AniplexUSA are going to dub the movies and release them as standard editions?

Let's be honest, there's no loss if the movies aren't dubbed. The English dub is pretty cringeworthy from what I've seen.

I felt the dub was alright, at least they pronounced Madoka properly and not MA DOKA.

Hopefully, Rebellion itself was the reason why I waited for a domestic trilogy set with the OSTs together. I'll gladly spend £150 on that.

I actually really like the English dub and think it's on par with the original Japanese. In particular, Cristina Vee's Homura, Cassandrea Lee's Kyubey and Sarah Williams' Sayaka were pretty amazing.

I liked the dub too. It was just Madoka's VA needed more time to get used to the voice she was doing though she really improves over the course of the series.
