Durarara Limited Edition BluRay is now also up with a price on Amazon. For SRP of £79.99 it's now £45.12. I was expecting something around the £60 mark, so I've put my preorder down.

Same here, before Amazon decides to raise the price

£42.86 for me with student discount

Glad I check this thread regular, locked in my order for this aswell, these prices are quite an amazing discount really, I'd usually expect £80 to get knocked down to £55 in a best case scenario.

Is Island Days what comes after a trip on a Nice Boat?
Considering that the white 3DS banner is currently being used as opposed to the black one (which Nintendo use in Japan for mature titles), a part of me wonders if this will be nice boat sailing. Or the CERO rating will come and everything goes to black xD.

The Gurren DVD one will have the films & Parallel works also - extras list isn't marked fully there for some reason so will get that fixed quickly!

Best,

Andrew

Ooooo interesting.

One more thing, Garden of Words (both Blu-ray and DVD) isn't listed on Amazon yet and since it's out next month I was wondering if it's Amazon's doing?

Yep, Amazon is being a slow-mo ironically. We'll be hammering the promotion for it though as soon as it does go live - price point is very accessible as we're doing standard versions for now while we plot and scheme on the Shinkai Collection :3.

Best,

Andrew

So its guaranteed that Garden of Words will make the Shinkai Collection? Because if so i might wait then to buy it in separated. Or maybe not... Maybe I'll buy both :p

NIS America have announced more Standard Editions for some of their shows:
Kimi no Todoke - From Me to You
Natsume's Book of Friends (Seasons 1 & 2)

Kimi will be split into three parts like the Premium version was before. All will be region locked. It's stated it's out 4th February.

Nice info. 4 BD50's for the series. Not bad. Prefer there to be no extras on those 4 discs though, use as much room as possible for the episodes. Gurren is one of those series that could probably do with a decent bitrate. Some episodes just have so much going on at once.

I hope the series also has the signs/song sub track to go with the English audio like the Bandai DVDs I have do.

Yes, one forced DVD show done more to go!

ETA April 2014 is a good guess.

So I can finally get this show. The cover art is as bad as the old DVD LE's though. I wish they'd done this like Panty & Stocking and put out the BD on it's own though. DVDs are just a waste of space.
Index BD fekking when?

I think the Index series is more complicated in terms of licensing, if we're lucky it might be confirmed when Index movie receives a BD treatment.

I'm hoping for Deadman Wonderland, because Manga UK screwed it up. By screwed up I mean - missing Funimation dub for OVA, mislabelling where the OVA was on the package, subtitles going off screen due to 'censored language' and missing chapter points. And it's a shame all versions have the censored Japanese dub and video quality.

Anywho, BBFC have finished rating Hakukoi Season 1 with a rating of 15 for 'Strong Violence and Gore'.

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/20 ... -anthology Weird choice for Discotek, hope this means they can release Robot Carnival or Memories in the future. Since this is a Studio 4c production, I hope they get Mind Game, that film deserves a nice release in the West. Shame Jin Roh on blu ain’t out till December though, since while its nice the DVD will use the same video transfer, the film has a lush OST, so I’ll wait for the blu ray so I can have uncompressed audio. Hope to hear about the release date for Cybersix and Ringing Bell.
