More SAO will be coming in 2014 as Sword Art Online II anime launches.

The popular Gun Gale Arc is about to occur, well this will be interesting.

This may be a stupid question, but why is the name of the Arc in spoilers? Surely anyone who knows a bit about SAO will recognise what Arc it is when they watch the 1st episode and everyone else won't have a clue of what to expect?

Just in case there are sensitive people who complain about SPOLIERS?! when something like this occurs. It's just to play it safe.

Now someone in the UK has grabbed Hamatora for streaming (suspects are Animax and Wakanim), because it's one of the only countries that won't be allowed to watch the series on Crunchyroll.

Part of me wants to nod and agree it's best not to spoil, but another part of me is worried that a SAO fan would get upset at what seems to be super low level information about a second series, after all knowing that they are animating arc 3 having done arc 1 and 2 doesn't seem that big a deal. I'll admit my SAO knowledge is a little limited but the only way I can see this being a spoiler is if they skipped the end of Arc 2 for some reason and jumped to 3

Wakaim woudl be best because then I can DTO and punt it onto my PS3.

You know, as apposed to Animax which is owned by Sony and all.
And I can watch Pokémon legally on my PS Vita and PS3 through the ITV Player app, but I can't on a Nintendo console unless I'm at a hotspot in a noisy, public place with my 3DS.

We live in such a logical world.

To be fair, Arc 2 is awful.

To be fair, Pokemon has been awful for the last three years.

The first 150 are the best
Considering how broken the actual R/B games were, with half of the mechanics not even working...

But this isn't the time or place for that xD [/GenVWasBestGen]

Happy new year folks from all of us! The Space Dandy screening time has been locked in now and we're preparing the first episode for streaming & download now.

Join the Dandy guy in the Space, with his SPACE TEAM every Sunday at 3:30PM on http://www.wakanim.co.uk!

Funimation have done a Q&A with the Kanzenshuu forums regarding the Dragon Ball Z: Orange Brick HD Edition sets.

"First off, going with widescreen over standard definition was a must." WTF, well then explain FLCL and Yu Yu Hakusho then since they're released in HD in their original ratio. Therefore their point about widescreen over SD is just plain rubbish.

- [AU] Pom Poko (Blu-Ray)

Pom Poko should be Studio Canal's next BD upgrade title.

I'm guessing the reason Only Yesterday is skipped is because there's no English dub. But why can't they make the dub like they did with Arrietty?

I hope Only Yesterday gets a blu ray release over here, as I want to own that film in the best quality and in a affordable manner, as the Japanese blu ray is very expensive, even though I love the film, I’m not going to pay THAT much for it, so I hope Sudio Canal can pick it up.

I would take a guess that Arrietty was a special case. As it's based off a British book, maybe they just wanted British accents to go with it. Glad they did do their own dub with this, the US dub changed some of the names.

Then that would mean we might get When Marnie Was There earlier than the US, because it's also based off a British book.

Despite the fact that Ghibli changes the films so that they're no longer set in England.

Huh, surprised that Accel World went to MVM, I thought that Manga would pick it up so that they could push the "From the Author of Sword Art Online!" connection. Shows how much I know :p MVM combined with Hanabee's Aussie release being DVD only means this will probably be DVD only as well. It was only a matter of time before it got licensed though.
