Huh, surprised that Accel World went to MVM, I thought that Manga would pick it up so that they could push the "From the Author of Sword Art Online!" connection. Shows how much I know :p MVM combined with Hanabee's Aussie release being DVD only means this will probably be DVD only as well. It was only a matter of time before it got licensed though.
I'm pretty sure MVM will still try and use the SAO link - anime companies have done that in the past.

DVD only though? Was it at least released as a BD in America?

Lets see now.

Accel World - DVD only, Blu-ray is possible (Viz's release is region A) but don't get your hopes up.
Chrome Shelled Regios - DVD only, Funimation's version is a SAVE so don't expect anything else.
We Without Wings - DVD only (Blu-ray is in Australia, but here it's most likely for the same reasons as ef). Like Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero and High School DxD, this one is also going to give the BBFC a tough time. It was even rated R18+ in Australia (not to be confused with X18+).

*Just looked up We Without Wings*
Yeeeeeaaaaaah. Just one look at FUNimation's trailer and...

I had to put up with it every time I put Maken-Ki! on PowerDVD. The irony of WWW is that MVM describes it as a romance etc. when it's actually a bloody ecchi fest. Still the BD/DVD LE is pretty cheap in comparison to the other releases.

I hope Only Yesterday gets a blu ray release over here, as I want to own that film in the best quality and in a affordable manner, as the Japanese blu ray is very expensive, even though I love the film, I’m not going to pay THAT much for it, so I hope Sudio Canal can pick it up.

You could give the Hong Kong Blu-ray version of Only Yesterday a try. Has English subtitles and is a lot cheaper than the Japanese version. £23.04 on yesasia, compared to £43.36 for the Japanese version. It is A locked I believe.

Despite the fact that Ghibli changes the films so that they're no longer set in England.

True, but this was one of only a few reason I could think of as to why StudioCanel would do their own dub. However it was late and I was tired when I posted, and I have now checked the release dates and seen the UK release came out five months earlier. So I guess that could have something to do with it.

I wouldn't take a lot of notice of the Australian ratings as they seem to give shows high certificates at the drop of a hat & from what I have read they are a lot tougher on content than the BBFC.

I guess.

Well if anyone is still curious, We Without Wings is available legally on Crunchyroll and Funimation's YouTube channel if you want to make your minds up before buying the upcoming release.

Sentai Filmworks Licenses "Hozuki no Reitetsu"
2 January 2014 at 20:04

HOUSTON, January 2, 2014 - It's a hell of a dirty job, but some demon's got to do it in Sentai Filmworks' latest acquisition, Hozuki no Reitetsu. This 13 episode underworld comedy is directed by Hiro Kaburaki (Kimi ni Todoke, My Little Monster), with character design by Hirotaka Kato (Eyeshield 21, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's), series composition by Midori Goto (Loups-Garous) and Animation Production by WIT Studio (Attack on Titan).

There are hard jobs and jobs that seem outright impossible, but in the end, the most difficult job in all creation probably belongs to Hozuki, Deputy Chief to the Great King Enma. Because the Great King spends all his time sitting in judgment on the recently deceased, it’s up Hozuki to keep the dark half of the afterlife running smoothly, which would be hellishly complicated even if Hell wasn’t constantly short on good help. Fortunately, Hozuki’s not the typical bureaucratic hothead you’d expect to find heading a department of infernal affairs. Fiendishly clever and determined enough to dedicate multiple lifetimes to a task (though not necessarily his OWN lifetimes), he’ll get the job done even if it means breaking a few unbreakable rules and running rings around Hell’s normal operating procedures. As for patience… well, Hell hasn’t frozen over quite yet, so the verdict’s still out on that, but he doesn’t suffer fools lightly, let alone damned fools. After all, that Highway to Hell isn’t going to get paved with just good intentions, so if someone has to suffer for all eternity, Hozuki’s damned sure that it’s not going to be himself in HOZUKI NO REITETSU!

Hozuki no Reitetsu will be available soon through select digital outlets with a home video release to follow.

One Piece Film/Special confirmed in 2014:
"One Piece Film next year
- Quite sure but not 100%
- For celebration of the 15th anniversary of OP anime.
- Dont know if Oda is going to participate again.
- No name or plot so far"

and of course, from the source of where this poster got their info from, Oda said this,

"Nami will have bigger boobs."

Wut, tell me that's a typo.

Updated again, and they're being explicit about the dub:

Now someone in the UK has grabbed Hamatora for streaming (suspects are Animax and Wakanim), because it's one of the only countries that won't be allowed to watch the series on Crunchyroll.
Since Kaze are streaming it in France via ADN, I'm highly suspecting a Kaze stream in the UK via Animax.

Speaking of ADN, they announced yesterday they are streaming Pilot's Love Song, Nobunagun and what I assume are a trio of Naruto movies. Kaze have confirmed via Twitter that Pilot is their license, although it is streaming in the UK via Crunchyroll.

Space Dandy Leaked by Madman making it the second of as many such cockups (the previous being KLK)

Definitely got some security holes it seems.

Of course they could counter this at least a little by not putting the thing up on their servers until a few hours before it's meant to go live, cut down the time people have to steal and re-distribute it.

009 Re:Cyborg will be delayed due to dubbing process taking a bit of time, Anime Limited have said.
Person: Will the 009 Re: Cyborg release be happening on 13th January?
Anime Limited: Dubbing is taking a bit longer than planned due to approvals process - so it'll be delayed. We'll announce a new date asap.

Just having a look on Manga UK's site, the Blood C movie will still have its Limited Edition style despite the Amazon listing being normal.

And looks like Miyazaki will still be around.
Ghibli giant Hayao Miyazaki has – to the surprise of nobody it seems – retracted his latest promise to retire, making it the 7th time he has vowed to quit only to think better of it.
The withdrawal, made in a radio broadcast on New Year’s Eve, marks the 7th such recantation (although by some counts he has done it as many as 10 times).
Starting after Laputa in 1986 and again in 1992, 1997, 2001, 2004, 2008 and now 2013, it now seems a time honoured tradition for him to celebrate his latest blockbuster’s success with a retirement announcement.
Online the usual railery has intensified, with there being some mild relief that his latest “retirement marketing” will not interfere with the prospect of a Nausicaa sequel.

Really, you need however long you need to upload it (and to be fair this is a bit of a crap shoot as this is Australia we're talking about), however long it takes to test the thing streams properly (Airtime * [Number of Streams / testers] ) and however long it takes to take the web page off private view (Which, presuming you're using a Content Management System of some sort, could be minutes, at most, hell it could be automated if you're smart enough)

SENTAI FILMWORKS LICENSES “ENGAGED TO THE UNIDENTIFIED”
3 January 2014 at 20:39

HOUSTON, January 3, 2014 — Sentai Filmworks is proud to announce its newest acquisition: Engaged to the Unidentified. This 12 episode series about the suddenly atypical life of a very typical teenager is directed by Yoshiyuki Fujiwara (GJ Club) and features character designs by Ai Kikuchi (Rainbow – Nisha Rokubo no Shichinin) with series composition by Fumihiko Shimo (Clannad), music by Jun Ichikawa (C3) and sound direction by Kazuzou Hamano (Shin Koihime Muso: Otome Tairan).

Meet Kobeni, your typical, completely normal high school girl. She’s good at cooking, poor at sports and lives with her freewheeling mother and her older, eccentric sister, Benio. The only thing unusual about Kobeni is that she can’t remember her childhood due to an accident when she was small. But everything changes on her 16th birthday with the arrival of a fiancé she didn’t even know she had! Hakuya, a quiet, pokerfaced boy, and his little sister Mashiro are moving in and Kobeni’s normal life is over. Mashiro’s intent on making her the perfect wife for Hakuya; Benio, is intent on Mashiro; and Kobeni? Well, she’s more than a little confused, but struggling to build a good relationship with Hakuya. But since he’s moved in, Kobeni’s memory is beginning to return, and she’s becoming increasingly convinced that Hakuya isn’t even human, but a dog that saved her life the day of the accident. Is Hakuya really a dog? Or is he something else? Will Kobeni ever discover the truth about her fiancé? Or her sister’s proclivities? Find out in Engaged to the Unidentified!

Engaged to the Unidentified will be available soon through select digital outlets with a home video release to follow in 2014.

This show is blocked from us, but there's hope when it comes to retail releases.

Do you mean part 2? Can't be part 1 considering its already out on shelves.

Next week in fact but for some reason the BBFC haven't rated episodes 1-7, which would probably get moderate violence and a 12 rating.
