New Japanese owned on-line streaming service launched for the UK.

though it's not working very well at date of this posting. ~_^
I had a quick look through that. Looks like Rakuten are trying to combine Blinkbox with Netflix. The streaming selection looks very close to Lovefilm Instant's selection so I don't see much incentive to switch.

Huh, so using Google Translate it looks like Kaze France and Crunchyroll France a.k.a. Genzai have merged their streaming services to form "ADN"? Wonder if that's going to affect AoD?

AoD is basically a fork of KZPlay. It looks like KZPlay subscriptions are being carried over (Genzai users have to cancel and re-subscribe) so it is an evolution rather than a replacement but.. who knows.

Considering Wuaki.tv's intro video wouldn't stop freezing on me and there didn't appear to be existing video controls - Do I dare to change? No. I'm happy with Netflix for now.

Kaze should hurry up and do whatever they intend to do with Anime-on-Demand already.

May I suggest the first revolution as part of their strategy for the new European anime service be actually streaming the shows they promised to stream instead of introducing hassle and delays for no reason? I'm lucky that I have other hobbies T_T

And I'm not using them unless they communicate this time. Assuming they even include the UK at all.

Sentai Filmworks news:
- Licensed Casshan
- Maria Holic will be given the English dub treatment for Blu-ray and DVD. It was previously released on Subtitle-only DVD back in 2010 (sequel in 2012). The Blu-ray and DVD sets are scheduled for release in January.
- Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 1000% will be released as part of the Subtitle-only experiment for Blu-ray and DVD.
- Shinzo Ningen Casshan will be released as part of the Subtitle-only experiment for Blu-ray and DVD.
- Tashio Baseball Girls will be released as part of the Subtitle-only experiment for Blu-ray. It was previously released on DVD in 2010.
- Medaka Box Abnormal (Season 2 of Medaka Box) will be released on Blu-ray and DVD with English and Japanese language.

For those who don't know, the Subtitle-only experiment is about Sentai Filmworks releasing titles on Blu-ray with no English dub due to fans wanting their shows released in that format or due to cost issues with dubbing (which is Funimation's case). Funimation is also doing the experiment with OniAi as a Limited Edition and Standard Edition Blu-ray and DVD Combo pack.

Awwww yeah, I've never seen Maria Holic because it's been DVD only, but now Sentai will be putting out a Bluray they've got a day 1 buyer. Did they give an estimated release date?

Like they weren't before hand?
Well, Blue Exorcist was a Blind Buy and the SAO sets look nice, but I absolutely friggin love Fate Zero so much that I'm majorly hyped for the release. I didn't think that they would look this glorious though which is a massive plus.

Aniplex USA have announced the Blue Exorcist Movie LE Blu-ray Set (and DVD), arriving 17th December 2013:

Image above is JP Version but judging the releases from previous titles (R.O.D. & Fate/Zero for example) expect the USA release to be the same

Regarding Maria Holic Alive:

Right now it's only Maria Holic, no Alive yet. As soon as I find out if we are though, It'll be on our Twitter/Facebook page. ;)
Regarding the third Mardock Scramble movie:
Asked about the issues and they said they were working to fix them. Mardock scramble 3 slated for early next year. #awa
Regarding From the New World:
early next year they told me

Also in case no one noticed; Devil May Cry: The Animated Series will be going back into print soon as Manga have licensed the show again (the show did sell very well like Afro Samurai, Akira and Evangelion movies did) for Blu-ray and DVD.

I can't justify the spend on the Blu-ray sets for the TV series, but for this movie I think the one off price is doable. I'll stick to the Manga UK BD's.

Cannot wait to watch this, loved the series.

Media Blasters have announced a few things
- Koe de Oshigoto! aka a 16 year old girl becoming a voice actress for adult video games will be getting an English dub track to go alongside the Japanese dub with the home release
- Kite and various other titles will be available for streaming but most likely geolocked to US only (UK iTunes sometimes gets the US stuff like Manga USA)

Anime Limited
Who fancies hearing more about Anime Limited acquiring their very first simulcast-ready title...?

Interesting....
Given Dasisuki's confirmedit's not streaming Kill La Kill for the UK (And, frankly speaking, thank 'eff) and AL has got a good thing going with Aniplex....

Really as long as lessons were learned with AOD this could work.

Sentai Filmworks will be revealing their Fall 2013 titles soon. There will be 10 titles plus a bonus title that will be revealed soon.

This is licences rather than titles being released I assume? as I'm pretty sure I've seen lists already of what they are releasing in the next few months
