I wish it would only be £200, it is 74 episodes after all.... :p

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Aniplex USA wouldn't touch it as they weren't involved in the making/production of it?

That's true, but I don't recall if they were involved with Rurouni Kenshin and R.O.D. TV.

Australia are rereleasing the CCS movie on dvd but I'm not sure about blu ray.
They said "Blu-ray is not on the cards due to the high production costs".
If they didn't know about the Discotek license at the time and can work something out when them that might change now though?

Is the GTO anime worth watching? I've heard good things about the manga but I've never really heard much about the anime.

You have no idea about the laughs you will give when watching the anime. You are losing a classic. To be honest, i am to re watch it as soon as possible cause it was great first time saw a few years ago.

I would say it's a must! There are a lot of great characters (Urumi Kanzaki!), the stories are full of comic moments but there are good amounts of drama and critics towards Japanese society, everything is well balanced. I think I saw it 4 or 5 times, it's one of the few shows I can't get tired of.

Also, there's a new Tiger & Bunny: The Rising teaser and updated poster, introducing Barnaby's new partner - Golden Ryan. Viz Media are still in discussions about the film, but the first one will be released on DVD/BD on 1st October.

Maybe they can actauly get the video transfer right on this one instead of making it look like butt.
