So my cancellation for the Agartha LE didn't go through with Amazon and it has been sent to me. I'm more than likely going to send it back, but before I consider that I was wondering if anyone would possibly be interested in buying it from me. (I ordered it when it was £17.99 so it would be that and P+P)

Anime Limitedgot more than just duty free coming back from the US it seems.

At this time it seems we are relying solely on Anime Limited to kick ass

Manga are too variable with the quality control
Kaze seem to like locking subs and cramming too much onto 1 disc
MvM generally do a good job but arn't willing to commit to BD

Lets hope Anime Limited meets our lofty expectations

I think what's important really is being in tune with what you guys feel and being able to make changes based on it quickly. Being small again means I can do that a lot easier than before as well so I'll do my best to live up to people's expectations - I'm sure there'll be stumbles along the way though so please do hold in there as we step out!

That said - if you look at each company they are out there communicating with everyone now too. Look at the great work Jeremy's doing for example there - it's rare in an industry you get that much access to people :).

At anyrate, will try to live up to the hopes of folks anyway :).

I do like what you're doing. You seem to be a busy man, yet you still make time to interact with people, whether it's through Twitter, Facebook, or even the forums here.
That's one of the things I like about MangaUK, they are very much in touch with their fans with active Twitter/Facebook pages and their podcast.

Good PR is a good way to win people like me over. Despite the fact that I do now import quite a lot of my purchases (Quite a few of which I still think will never see UK releases/are licensed by MVM so no BD), I still sometimes wait for Manga releases because I like the people behind the company and want to support what they are doing. As much of a pain in the ass it is seeing titles being released months behind other regions, I understand the reasoning behind it and that it isn't always something which can be controlled.

All i'll say is keep it up Andrew, I look forward to your first Anime Limited release!

With the relatively small size of the market and danger from overseas imports I think all UK anime companies really need to step up their communication. You've no doubt already gathered that when fans don't get the same level of quality or features they default to the US version. Likewise being slow off the mark can lead to titles already being ordered from the US before a UK version is even considered.

I just noticed Waiting in the summer pop up on my usual importer site, fortunately MvM announced a week or so ago that they had it so while i'm not sure if it's something i'll buy I at least know I could wait for the UK release.

Don't know if this is known already but MVM want to get Kids on the Slope out by late May/June

I find this surprising since the US date is May 7th. How do MVM get Sentai titles out so quickly?

I did watch like 4 or 5 episodes when it was airing but then stopped cause it was getting meh... Still it was not that bad.

I loved it, the animation on some of the drum/piano playing was glorious. Music and tone of the series was great. Guess it didn't have the paciest or most action packed story though (in fact it barely had a plot).
