Job hunting, how i hate it so. I need to get a flat still as well, and it just seems to pile up when i least notice it.

How goes the job hunting?
Not terribly well for me.

Erm, I'd say the range is mid teens to late twenties. and in the odd/rare cases....we have the 30 year olds.

Its average age is 20 i guess.

It was the stalker call I just got!
in fairness..it was a failed call. and i was hoping you'd be confused as to who it was...awell...there's always next time

Tachi works cleaning out public toilets.

Hallo Zeouterlimits... I'm going to call you Z for short. It's just easier. :p

I'm 26 so I'm one of the older members here.

Job Hunting is going..erm...bad. I have a place i can go to at home, which i will probably work at over the summer, so its not as bad as i make out, its just that i would have preferred to work here in edinburgh and have a flat here too instead of work in that damned place. As such i'm looking for a flat starting in August/Early September instead of June/July.

Erm, roughly i'd say the majority of people here range between 16-25, however there are a fair few members above that and a couple below that too, so its fairly varied.

Cool, turning 20 in 3 weeks.
So where do you work Tachi (saw you mention it in the other post)?

Englands NHS (National Health Service)
Oversee the county of Bedfordshire's Hopsitals, units/wards and specialist homes. for Learning disabilities and Mental health patients.
basically my job is to make sure correct staffing levels are upheld and that the units are running like clockwork.
apart from calculating thousands of my staff's annual leave right now....i'm just relaxing...as its near home time and the counties covered till the 27th at the moment. So not particularly bothered what happens till then....just so long as no sudden bookings come through

Sorry to hear about the job such problems your having Arba. I really do not envy you. I feel reaally lucky to have a job in these times. I don't know if it's just our area, but I've noticed alot of foreigners steeling jobs for less pay round here recently. Now that's just wrong.
Hope it turns round for you.

Z is good, I get that alot (especially in Teamspeak or XBL).

Know what you mean Arbalest, few of my friends are trying to do the exact same actually (get a job where they're studying instead of moving back home).

Tachi-: Shoot, that's quite a job. The health service is something so important and constantly politically relevant, eek a la pressure.
But certainly enjoy your time off.

i'd be careful what you say Voddas, the amount of C**ts that are running around shouting discrimination is unbelievable right now.
one guy took out trust to court as our recruitment questions where deemed discriminatory apparently asking if they have a work permit and a permanent NI number is offensive...so now we have to give them an application form...regardless of if their legally in this country or not.

Political bollocks, not correctness. thats what i say

Didn't mean to touch a nerve there Tachi. O_O

They can blow it out their arse like. Freedom of speech an all that.

lol its okay mate, you didn't :)
tbh cleaning toilets would leave me in less Sh*t than the NHS has on a daily basis ;)

well...hometime.

Nice talking to you Z. hopefully speak to you around the forums, feel free to come back to this thread whenever. there's usually a nice number of us who talk in here.

Till then

Adieu
