HMV are infamous for their terrible pricing/updating prices of stock.

More than a few times i've seen similar things to this, like ayase said - query it with the staff and see if an alternative price is actually viable.
 
Might have a polite word next time I'm in. £30 for the Black Butler volumes just seems barmy, nobody in their right mind would buy them, unless the complete series was suddenly discontinued.
 
Well exactly. At that price it's a lose-lose scenario - You're not going to buy them and they're never going to sell them.
 
Yeah, I've seen prices like that at HMV all the time, and have pointed it out to the staff on a couple of occasions. But they just told me that they can't do anything about that, for whatever reason their forced to sell them at that price

On my drawing table there is a battery-operated plastic frog. Its function is to croak, by aid of an internal speaker, whenever its sensor detects a change in light intensity.

There is no switch by which it can be deactivated. A childhood cuddly toy currently engulfs its frontal resistor to limit its disturbances.

A shallow ornamental lake was recently opened in my town. But a few days ago, a colleague of mine photographed a gypsy's horse standing therein awaiting its owner's return. Such is the way of things.
 
Gawd... I hate blu-ray sometimes. The quality is great but I swear the format causes more trouble than it's worth. My second player is throwing a hissy fit (the first one melted...) about how the format's wrong when it was playing perfectly fine yesterday. In many ways though it's better the player than the disc, considering the disc in question was Fellowship Extended disc 2 and thus would've cost £50 to replace one disc... I'm gonna try a disc cleaner tomorrow but this is just such a pain... I hate putting in a blu-ray and experiencing that sinking feeling everytime a disc takes slightly too long to load.
