Hey Jindama, so, what's yourplans for uni?

Fox - finish slayers and order shigurui online if you must.

I should be doing courses on Compilers, Databases, Computer Security, 2 courses on AI and something on Information Flow.

Compilers is cool, Databases is one of my specialties, computer security is not for me, AI can be both good or bad dependind on what you're going to study and information flow, although I have no idea what the curriculum is, sounds like a filler course to me - sounds like being a sequence / state diagram design sort of thing.

It probably will turn out to be a filler course, the alternatives though were Computational Complexity or Lambda Calculus.

I've had enough of asymptotic bounds now, and don't want a course on analysing problems to decide if they're P or NP etc.

Lambda Calculus could be okay, but I suspect it could be a harder course, and having been told the Information Flow course was fun but useless I think I'd prefer that. That and if I want some form of coding job once I finish Information Flow is vastly more likely to be useful compared to Lambda Calculus.

I kinda like the computational complexity one though... In anycase, yes, I agree that information flow is useful, I just think it's a dull subject and can be learned elsewhere (such as on the job). Other than this is basically learning the notations, which can be done with a good reference book in a couple of hours. I have a soft spot for anything that's useful for algos though, as I made a career out of it.

Now he is, wait until he gets to his exams.. ;)

BTW - I'm happy Italy is out. Now, no team in this world cup can match the number of titles wehave =D

Mourning the fact that I have lost my oyster card because:

a) it had a weeks worth of receipts in there - that i could have claimed back as expenses. (Only self employed people think like this. Before I became self employed i never cared about receipts)

b) it came in a really cool manga cover.

What a bummer :(

I hate torture scenes like in Saw, yet I just watched an illustrated guide to all the Saw 1 to 5 traps, and actual videos of the most painful or interesting ones. Actually felt light-headed after one of them (Angel Trap). Mock my unmanliness.

Edit: BTW, good morning.

So, how's life in this great, sunny Friday ? Really looking forward a B'day BBQ party tomorrow now and a chilling day on Sunday =)

Lifes pretty good, im nursing a hangover though, hitting the ole G&T last night

Got paid today so im gonna hit the shops, stock up on some anime me thinks. Has anyone seen Strait Jacket?

Chilling day on Sunday Chaos? Im sure you wont be chilling when were 3-3 on penalties against the gerries haha :p

Morning.

I've seen Strait Jacket, I wouldn't bother with it honestly. The first episode is completely mediocre and although episodes 2 and 3 were a bit better but with a total of three episodes its completely missable.
If you're intending to buy it save your money for something else.
