and I think your shiny pokemon on silver is either Ledyba or Ledian :p

Red Gyrados is the only other shiny I caught and that was on Gold/Silver and Crystal lol
 
Ledyba! that was it :D Thanks :) Ah yeah red gyrados, i didn't count that since that was an event rather then random chance, i still remember the rumours that breeding that with a normal gyrados created a shiny gold magikarp lol
 
Hey Mono :) Dare I admit that I've never played Pokemon?

@Black - I have the two Zeta R1 "brick" collections. From what I can remember the video quality is about average, a bit of interlacing but certainly not terrible.

Sound is good as it's ever going to be, the dub is passable. I like Char's Canadian(!) voice but Kamille sounds particularly whiny. The worst thing about the US release is the omission of the original theme songs - it's never been cleared up why that happened.

The packaging is grey M-lock cases which hold five discs each. They do look cheap, I wouldn't suggest you pay any more than £20 each for them.

Have you seen the new Japanese Blu-ray Zeta boxes? They look great. I'm going to grab the rips once my internet is fast again, see what the quality is like.
 
@Mono :) i did actually try it though, i was a lot more gullible when i was younger :p

@Ayase, ah thanks, so far i've been looking at prices about £30 each since i don't want it to be hit by customs but if you know of sites that import but get around customs (either by gift marking of other means) please speak up :) The blu-ray releases certainly do look nice but my hands are tied on that till Hideo Kojima brings out ZoE 3 on the PS3 :p (or if they say that the next Shin Megami Tensei game is PS3 only)
 
Don't worry Black, I did the same thing on Red and Blue when I read about this invisible pokemon in the safari zone and how to get it in this magazine lol :lol:
 
lol there was plenty of rumours for the first games, like the surfing pikachu, and codes on how to get mew without going to an nintendo event. Good memories there of those games, and Red is the only game so far where i got all pokemon (barring Mew of course)
 
Sadly you're buying at the wrong time... I got them for about £16 each from Caiman via Amazon. I just checked and they're about £22 now which runs the risk of duty. It might be worth a gamble though, as if you were thinking of spending £30 it wouldn't be any more than that even with the Royal "pain in the arse" Mail charge.

I doubt I'll buy it on Blu unless it comes out subbed - thanks to our now weak currency the Japanese boxes work out at £250 each and I don't even know if they're region coded or not.
 
true wouldn't be so bad if playusa had them in but its only got the second set listed and its not in stock sadly, as that gets under the limit, i'll keep looking though, i'm also looking at 0083 but that's less of a concern as i wasn't too fond of that OVA

I forget about Play as they still seem to be holding a grudge against me from when my card details didn't match my billing details because of one wrong letter in the postcode. Lost them a customer, anyway...
 
the first shiny i got was on crystal......a shiny golbat :thunb: it was a beast to catch.....but paid off in the end...at lvl 56 i went through the pokemon league with that pokemon alone.

Edit: i sent a nice email onto my old colleagues in the I.T dept.....minutes later the techy's blackberry buzzed....he walked out shortly afterwards and has gone.

Stotfold. I got the job and will be starting on Wednesday; which is a night for friends and family only. It officially opens on the first day of May. I will start as a waiter and then be introduced to the bar afterwards.

They do not want to throw me straight into the "deep end" of the job, like they did to my Mum (who is now a 'star-worker' for their night club) and thought that they would be fair with me. I'll try my best. GANBARU!
